   The two lads have been crabbing with each other all day. Finally, their meowmy put them in their room and said, "Either make friends or don't come out -- ever!"

   Rotley and Ruggles looked at each other. Ruggles frowned, and his mahogany forehead ruffled.

   "Look," said Rotley, "Let's see if we can open the Roller Rink today. We'll crank up the A/C until there's frost on the mirror ball, we'll get our favorite DJ, Mama will make us some treats to bring, and we can invite everyone."

   "And you promise not to call me any more names?" said Ruggles.

   "No," vowed Rotley. "And you swear that my new shirt is cool?"

   Both lads grinned, high-fived and ran downstairs to their meowmy. Rotley got on his cell phone and started calling everyone.

   "And you've got to call Windi and Willow!" called Ruggles, changing into his shorts and T-shirt.

   "Got THEM on speed-dial!" laughed Rotley.

   Willow looks at Windi and says "Quick - let's go and get changed because Ruggles and Rotley have invited us to skate today!". Windi, who was in the middle of her third morning nap, looks up and slowly stretches, then follows her sister.

   The Girls decide, since the A/C will be on full force, to wear long sleeved tee-shirts with the 'Hello Kitty' on them and denim capris with pink bows at the bottom.

   Willow spits on Windi's head in order to make her fur spike up and plasters on a big pink bow.

   The Girls gather up some catnip crackers, sardines and clotted cream and zip off through the wormhole......

   Lady stretches and looks around. She hasn't skated since she was a kitten, but thinks the youngsters will be fun to watch. She wraps a black shawl around her shoulders, puts on her hat and gloves, and slowly makes her way to the wormhole.

   R&R tumble through the wormhole at the roller rink.

   Music, lights, nip sodas, crab cakes, and tuna-moona pies for kittens -- it all starts!

   Rotley runs to Windi and hugs her, twirling her around.

   "You look so pretty, kitty!" he laughs, as Windi pretends to be dizzy, shaking her lovely head.

   Ruggles extends his paws to Willow. "Oh, I've missed you!"

   "Hello, yes this is Bog..

   Oh Hi Rot, how are ya? You are opening the Rink with Ruggles? Sure, Clark and I will be there.. Andy's at Auntie 2b's house, but I'll let Auntie 2b know so that Andy, BB, Betty and BooBooo will come too, ok? Anything that we can bring? Sure, Daddy will make a big tub of tuna ice cream and put it in a carrying case with dry ice to keep it frozen. See you in a bit."

   Bog runs into the kitchen. Meow (translaated Daddy, will you please make a tub of tuna ice cream NOW?)

   Bog changes into jeans and a new t-shirt that says "Subway- eat fresh" He wonders if daddy will notice that it's gone.

   Clark puts on cargo shorts and his bright orange t-shirt. No one will lose him in a dark alley! lol

   The boys take the tub and a bag that has a change of clothes for Andy and they slide through the worm hole....

   Velvet and Spice receive their invitation to the roller rink. all of a sudden they are a flurry of activity as they change their clothing to shorts and t-shirts. it is fortunate the wormhole to the rink is just outside their door. they grab a large of catnip ice tea and head out the door...

   hello everyone !!! they shout at the rink. many kitties come up to them and cuddle and purr...

   "If BooBoo is coming, get Thor!" whispers Windi to Rotley.

   Rotley dials Thor's number. Thor was in his meowmy's greenhouse, supervising the watering of several rare roses.

   "Coming as soon as I can change," says Thor, gesturing to his meowmy, "and call me back to let me know what color BooBoo is wearing, please."

   Thor whisks out of his apron and chooses white slacks, double-breasted navy blazer, and a handsome ascot, dressing quickly.

   Misu yells at the boys: Fancy Feline tells Rotley and Ruggles open the Rink tonight. Come on boys, let's change the clothes NOW!

    Misu and the boys wear black and white today. They look very cool with their sun glasses and ageless style. Hipsu carries a giant bottle of nip soda and the rest bring mouse pies for everykitty.

    Andy, BB, Betty and Miss Boo Boo slide through the worm hole. Miss Boo Boo is very dignified and looks around to see if Thor has arrived. She is dressed in a pretty summer dress of ivory lace and a pretty light green under dress with pastel print parasol.

    Andy is dressed in his farmer's overalls and a t-shirt. He grins as he looks at Betty.

    Betty is dressed in a pale blue pair of shorts and a white t-shirt. She has blue ribbons in her ears to match her shorts.

    BB is in black and white- white shorts and a black t-shirt.

    Windi grabs Rotley and off they go to skate. Windi's having a little bit of trouble with her bow, as it keeps slipping down over her eyes. She hangs onto Rotley for dear life!

    Willow hugs Ruggles and smooths out a wrinkle on his shirt that isn't even there. She gives his whiskers a little lick. Just then they see Thor arrive and watch with glee as Thor and Miss Boo Boo see each other.

    Willow says to Ruggles, "Don't you think that Thor looks especially dashing today? I think he and Miss Boo Boo make such a beautiful couple!" She grabs Ruggles and tells him that the two of them should go and make certain that everything is ready on the treats table and that the tuna ice cream is staying nice and cold.

    Thor carries a corsage box in one hand, and presents it to BooBoo.

    Within the box is a perfect wristlet, with two rare Ivory Heart heirloom roses, their pink petals still unfurling. Pale green baby ferns peek from beneath the blooms.

    "For you," whispers Thor. He hates it when his voice breaks, but BooBoo just takes his breath away!

    Miss Boo Boo blushes slightly. She is such a classy lady cat. She holds out her little paw for Thor to place the wristlet on. It is so beautiful. She leans forward and gently brushes whiskers with Mr Thor. Thank you, Miss Boo Boo says quietly, although her eyes shine like a kitten with a new toy.

    Ruggles skates across to Andy -- time for a skating lesson!

    "Can you skate backward, nephew?" smiles Ruggles to Andy.

    Andy's eyes widen, and he shakes his head. "No."

    "OK, Farmer Andy -- let's gliiiiide!"

    Ruggles takes one paw, Willow takes the other little paw, and they skate backwards as the DJ spins an Abba tune.

    Andy hangs onto Ruggles and Willow!! They are so wonderful to him. He grins at then and lets go......

    Ker-plop, down he falls. He doesn't cry this time, but the tears well up. He looks at Willow and doesn't want her to think he's a baby, so he gets up and rubs his tail-less rear end and says to Uncle Ruggles, let's do some more, OK?

    Willow understands about crying but not wanting to look like a little kitten. She goes over to Andy and gives him a nuzzle, dusts him off and she and Ruggles decide to just do some easy gliding with Andy. They take his paws and slowly go around the rink.

    Lady sits in the corner and drinks her tea, wondering if anyone will talk to her if she drops her dignity and tries this skating foolishness. She finds a pair of skates and slowly wobbles out onto the floor.

    Andy hangs on again. He knows that Uncle Ruggles and Willow won't let him get hurt. He grins widely as they all skate around and makes faces at big brother Clark.....

    {{Ruggles looks at Andy}} That's not nice, nephew.... {{Andy looks at Ruggles}} I'm sorry Uncle Ruggles... {{Ruggles says}} You don't need to apologize to me, but you do need to to your brother.

    {{Andy, Ruggles, and Willow skate over to Clark}} Andy says I'm sorry Clark, that wasn't very nice. {Clark looks at Ruggles}} How did you ever get the brat to apologize? {{Ruggles shrugs and off the three skate}}

    Misu's eyes dazzle when she notices Bog. "Sure I want" she says and hugs Bog. "Let's take Lady with us" she suggests when she sees her wobbling.

    Fred and Cricket run to Meowmy, "OMG, mom, the rink is open and we are late!"
    Meowmy gives them some Lobster and crab cakes to bring to the rink.
    Fred has on a green polo to match his eyes and a tight pair of jeans with a hole for his tail. He also carries a single red rose for Misu. He hasn't seen her in a long time and misses her!
    Cricket wears Capri's and a off the shoulder yellow shirt, 3/4 sleeves. She has yellow ribbons around her ears and little yellow socks.
    They blast through the wormhole and land at the rink. Cricket takes off running for everyone
    "hi!! We are here, we brought lobster and crab cakes!" she put them down and runs to find her friends.
    Fred is more dignified and goes over to Misu hands her the rose and says
    "I have missed you more than a flower misses the rain" kisses her lightly on the nose and leads her out to skate.

    Thor and BooBoo skate slowly to Bog and Misu, as they help Lady skate.

    "You know, we mature catsters need to stick together," whispers BooBoo to Lady, as Thor extends his elbow to the lovely cat in the shawl and gloves.

    "If you wish to skate with us, my dear, we would be so honored," says Thor.

    Bog and Misu glide after them, laughing happily. "Us! Us! Lady's with us!"

    Lady blushes; it has been so long since anyone fought over her!

    Misu is so happy she glows. She tries to stay cool but she would really like to shout the world that Fred loves her. That Fred is the most gorgeous gentlekitty ever and he is her sweetheart!
