Cricket talks to Velvet and Spice and noshes a bit on the yummy food. Then she spies Clark. She excused herself from the girls and goes up and tugs on Clarks tail.
Clark, turning around thinking it's Andy, sees Cricket and smiles. They hug and kiss and decided to go skate. Cricket says "let's not forget Andy" so they put Andy between them and all 3 go skate.

Bog misses Pipa. It's been so long. But he knows that God has a plan for furry and furless people, so if God wants Pipa to be with him, then she will be. Until then, he'll just skate with other kitties.

Willow hesitates but finally admits to the group that her favorite movie is actually Babe. Windi hears her sister and begins to chant
*Baa, Ram, Ewe; Baa, Ram, Ewe! To your breed be true! Baa, Ram, Ewe!*
Willow shakes her head and knows that she's going to have to listen to Windi doing that chant for a looooonnnnggg time.

Cricket sees Bog and tells Clark, she will be right back and skates over to him and gives him a big hug.
"Oh Bogman, it's okay. Remember, Pipa's meowmy is very busy since it's summer and she's planning a wedding, so I bet Pipa is helping. Melon too!"
She asks Bog if they can skate together and then she notices his new purple collar.

Fred hears the word BBQ and tells everyone we need to call Huddy and Mavvy and invite Truman here too. Bacon wrapped burgers are needed here asap.

Rotley skates over to Ruggles.
"What are we going to do when we close down the rink?" he asks his brother.
"Meowmy said to invite all the kits and the parents back to our house. She said they are going to have a Movie Night inside and pop popcorn and have Cokes (she said something about a Coke Rule) and glazed pecans and lemon tarts."
"Ruggles, what are we supposed to do while they're inside?" insisted Rotley.
"That's a surprise!"

Cricket and Fred have their backpacks with jammies, snacks and fresh clothes in the locker room. Meowmy always sends it with them just in case of a sleepover.

Fred is lucky to skate forward, so he knows he is out. Cricket asks Bog if they want to skate backwards to see if they can get the food. They can share. Bog says sure and they turn around and start skating backwards past all the other kitties.

"Now, listen. Meowmy hired a story-teller, and she's had the big tent put up in the back yard."
Ruggles crossed his forelegs in front of his chest.
"And I can't tell you any more. It's a SURPRISE."
"Wow, look at Andy!" said Rotley in a shocked voice. "He may win the prize!"
The boys skate over to the snack counter to say hello to Pumpkin. They've missed her!
"How's your mom?" asks Rotley.

Andy sees Velvet and Spice. He goes over to them with big, wide open paws and meows "Auntie Velvet ! Auntie Spice ! How good it is to see you !!!" He jumps into Velvet's outstretched paws and gives her a kiss right on her muzzle ! They both purr loudly..."My, you've grown so much Andy. You must be eating and exercising quite well. You are going to be very very very handsome when you become an adult, you're very handsome now" And with that, he jumps down, grabs both Velvet's and Spice's paw and all 3 skate together...

*Milkshake??? Did I hear milkshake?* Windi asks Rotley if he thinks she can skate backwards. Truthfully, she has barely mastered going forward, but for a milkshake.....
Windi pushes off from the side of the rink and actually manages to stumble her way backwards for a few feet. But then the ribbons on the end of her capris got tangled up, and WHOMP!!!
Her lower lip quivers.......

As usual, Andy has made a mess with his mouse milkshake, but it mostly on his handsome face. To save him any embarrassment, Velvet and Spice make a mess also, but deliberately. They look at each other and laugh. Then comes time where all 3 help each other wipe off their milk mustaches.,,.

Lady is surprised and flattered by the attention. Bog and Misu are very polite young gentlekitties, and it's gratifying to see Thor and Booboo; now she knows she's not the only nonkitten around. She plans to go with Ruggles and Rotley to their afterparty.

The kits skate and skate through the afternoon, twirling and gliding, forwards and backwards. The twilight deepens, and Emma calls Ruggles on his cellphone telling him to bring everyone back to their house.
The white tent is set up in the middle of the back yard, the solar lights come on one by one, and a lovely dinner is spread on the patio tables. Pitchers of nip soda and salmonade are placed carefully on the tables, and when the kits come tumbling through the wormhole, the smell of popcorn is in the air.
A bonfire pit flares beyond the patio and the tent, and a large hand-carved wooden chair is set with ceremony beside it. A small table, covered with a white cloth, is placed beside the chair with a single crystal goblet of water.
As the kits begin to eat a very nourishing and healthful supper, the parents gather in the family room, and Emma slips the DVD for "A Knight's Tale" into the player, and the movie is ready to begin.
The tent is filled with sleeping bags and blankets and pillows, ready for a huge sleepover.
Only one thing more is needed.
A knock is heard at the door, and in the sudden respectful hush, Emma welcomes the StoryTeller into her home. She introduces her to all the parents. A few curtseys are dropped, and there is a great deal of bowing. A pool of quiet surrounds this lovely creature.
Emma opens the sliding doors to the patio and the meowmies and dads lead the StoryTeller out into the backyard. The kits, full of good food and excitement, follow her to the beautiful chair with its silken cushions.
The StoryTeller, a tall and beautiful Siamese, sits in the chair like an Oriental queen, lifting the shimmering veil from her elegant head and tossing it back to her shoulders. The bangles on her arms and her gold earrings catch the light from the fire, and the kits gather around the firepit, breathless to hear her.
"I tell the stories of long ago, when cats first ruled the earth, when we charmed the winds and called ghosts out of caverns, and when the trees of the forest were all very, very young," she begins in a low and musical voice, and the firepit flames with colors as the tales begin.

Willow and Windi sit entranced by the Story Teller. They listen in rapt attention and pride. When the Story Teller tells the part about the importance of Siamese, Windi nudges Willow and reminds her "You know that all black kitties are descended from Siamese. And, just look at my nose - it is pure Meezer. That makes me special!"
The Girls return to listening to the Story Teller and are drawn into her beauty and her story.....

WWM beckons to her girls through the wormhole. *You know, tomorrow is one of the few days that I don't set my alarm. So, I'm going to leave you here in the care of Ruggles and Rotley. Listen to all of the stories but be well behaved. I'm sending your PJ's and slippers and a basket of bacon biscuits for breakfast. Give your Auntie Emma a kiss when the stories are over. Then, curl up with Ruggles and Rotley and whisper deep remembrances of cat history. Tomorrow morning, come back through the wormhole in time to watch the Tour de France.

The StoryTeller's eyes flash like blue fire: "I speak of the great wars, the royal Siamese kings and queens, the noble Calico emperors, the clever and cunning Ginger ambassadors, the giant MaineCoons who guarded the frontiers and fought so bravely."
The stories end, and the little heads droop one by one. Kits' faces are quickly washed, and the parents slip the little cats into their jammies. Andy is given his teddycat, and Velvet and Spice snuggle with him.
Every kitty is given a good night kiss, and the StoryTeller walks out, smiling at all the drowsy cats.
The parents toast her and her wonderful stories of love and valor, and they all thank her for a wonderful evening. The sounds of purrs and sleepy kitties fill the white tent and the crickets chirp softly in cadence to the cats' soft breath.
"I will make sure they are breakfasted and they will all be home by 8 AM tomorrow," whispers Emma to the parents.
The stars rise over the tent and soon the only lights are the solars in the garden, and one by one they wink out as the earth turns toward morning.
