Hi! My name is Sarah Elizabeth, I am a senior kitty, 14 years old. I have been very sick for the past couple of years. I have been in the hospital twice, the last time was only a few months ago. I have two mommies but the one I am closest to is disabled. She is not on disability yet and only makes fifty bucks a week working from home. When I got out of the hospital this last time, my mommies could not pay all of my bill. The vet lets them make payments even though it is not their policy. I also have to take medicine everyday since I got out of the hospital, two different kinds. My mommies have been paying on my bill the best they can but every time they pay some seems like there is something else has to be charged. Like my medicine or flea and worm medicine. I have 3 rotten little brothers and their mama that live with us now.:( That's why my mommies haven't enough money for me. I should be an only child. But, my mommies both are suckers for homeless pregnant kitties, injured kitties and kitties with no mommies. So here we are, one big "happy" family, so they say. Anyway, I know my mommies are really struggling to pay off my vet bill and I want to help them. I am almost out of medicine again and my mommies don't have the money this month to pay for it and I don't think the vet is going to let them keep charging. So I have a chipin page where you can help if you can. Here it is http://scarver.chipin.com/vet-bill. You just go there and make a contribution, it also tells you how much has been donated so far and how much more I need. My Mommy also spoke with the vet and you can make donations directly to them if you prefer. But the only one who can take your donation by phone is the office manager and her name is Wendy Jones. Here is the vet's address. City Vet Oak Lawn
2727 Oak Lawn Ave.
Dallas, Tx. 75219
214-219-2838
If you mail in a donation, be sure you put attn: Wendy Jones on it. I also have some pictures of me at http://www.catster.com/cats/823847 if you want to see how pretty I am. :) I use to look much better before I got so sick and old. But hey, I still look pretty good. Thank you for reading this and if you can help me some I will really appreciate it. Have a great day!

scarver, Sarah is indeed a beauty, I have a 14 yr old gent myself (Max). If you go to your profile for TDK and put your catster addy there (under the Website space), your name will turn pink like most of ours and then when people click on the name it brings up Sarah's pic & profile immediately :)

Hello Madcatwoman and 2bpurring! Thank you for letting me know you received your cards. I always worry about how I do things on this computer. I'm not very computer savvy. I hope GreatDane got hers also. Also, thank you Madcatwoman for bumping my post. That was very thoughtful of you. Sarah just came in the house from outside and she seemed to be walking a little funny. :( I pray she never gets sick again, but especially right now. She ate though when she came in and that's a good sign. Every now and then she will walk a little funny, like her hips hurt or something. Well, I better get off of here, I am suppose to be working. :) I work from home as a dispatcher for my ex boss. I only work a few hours a week. The days and hours vary. Have a great day.

Hey 2bpurring and Madcatwoman I'm sorry I forgot to thank you both earlier for bumping this. I would like to keep both post on the front page threw the weekend. We have got to make a payment to the vet next week. Rebekah, Sarah's other mommy, went by the vet tonight to pick up Sarah's medicine and they had something to say about the outstanding bill. It was the asst. manager that said something. Apparently the manager has not said anything to her about us having an outstanding bill. I'm not to worried about it though. We have been using this vet for many years. We had to pay out Sarah's other bill also of 2 years ago when she was in the hospital. So they know we are good for it. By next week we just may be able to pay whole balance. Last time I looked today at the chipin page we were at 45% of our goal.:)

Hi everyone! Thanks Renee and jinxedfairy for bumping this post. I would like to try and keep it on the front page this weekend. I feel there is more people on here over the weekend as opposed to during the week. Also, I want to give everyone an update, my chipin fund is at 58%! :) How amazing is that? Thank you to everyone who has donated, sent prayers or best wishes. I have also added another post in addition to this one if anyone wants to read it. It is titled, I just want you to know. Have a great weekend everyone!

GreatDane: Thank you for your donation, as always, I truly appreciate it. I went to my chipin page to check on your donation and it is there. You can not see it unless you are me and log in to my account. When I do that, I can go to a page that displays every one's donations, amount, date and time they were made. I don't know why it didn't change the percentage on that little widget thing. Maybe it just takes a little while. But it is there, so again, thank you. Everyone has been so very kind.

Thanks SOM - seems to be a bit of a pattern just lately, get through the week and fel lousy at the weekend. This weekend my IBS has been playing up, which is extremely uncomfortable. Just hope I'm OK for the next 2 weekends, in 2 weeks it's my birthday & we're having a big bbq, which next weekend must be spent doing some emergency housework - can't have people seeing how we *really* live!!!!
