  1. Hi all TDKers, lurkers, and KW (not necessarily in that order).
I see KW is blogging all over the place, but I keep missing her.

So I've started the fountains flowing, turned the lights on low, and set out the welcome mat...
    Welcome to Night Shift.

  5. hey KW, how are you tonight. How are you Bobbi?

  6. Hi, Ale! I saw the photos of your St. Francis statue. Poor thing!

I would need to think hard about another cruise. My hubby and I have control issues it seems. We didn't like operating on the ship's schedule or the relentless pressure to spend, spend, spend, but it was a great experience overall. :D

  7. yeah I know, I have had that statue for 5 years I think. Kinda sux that it got broken...
Hey KW I found a book that made me think of you

  8. I managed to catch a cold near the end of my trip. I fought it off as long as I could, but it is full blown now. :( I still swear by emergen-C packets. This cold could be much worse.

What book did you find, Ale?

  9. the Zen of Quilting, I got it for a dollar at big lots

Posted 3 years ago by TheKnittingNinja #

  10. Cool title! :D

Posted 3 years ago by Kitten Whisperer #

  11. I have read about half of it
    Kinda wanna start quilting now

  12. I just found your other thread KW, and looked at the pics. I hope you didn't let Bob get drunk, not with his history of siezures......

I have to agree that it can be pretty fast-paced and full.

  13. Nooooooooo, Bobbi! Bobby was keeping watch over my drink. I think its flashing red, blue, white and green lights hypnotized him! lol

You should take a quilting class, Ale. Sign up for one with a friend. It is really a fun, social thing to do.

  14. dont think any of my friends are quilters, if I was closer to my mom I would do one with her

Posted 3 years ago by TheKnittingNinja #

  15. You might try to talk one or more of your friends to sign up with you since you would all be beginners, Ale.

I was really missing TDK while I was gone. I finally broke down and paid the exorbitant minute by minute rate to get online on the ship and check in. lol

  16. might just go and do one on my own and see who I meet

  17. Good idea, Ale! You are good at knitting and crocheting. Do you have any experience with sewing?

Posted 3 years ago by Kitten Whisperer #

  18. yes, I learned to sew when I was 8 and have made lots of clothes

Posted 3 years ago by TheKnittingNinja #

  19. You will take to quilting quickly, I predict!

Do you have any knitting/crocheting project going right now?

Bobbi, has Bitsy forgiven you for taking him to the spa??

  20. I'll be back later guys.

  24. well I havent been working too much on anything cause my arm and neck have been hurting too much

Posted 3 years ago by TheKnittingNinja #

  25. Ale, have we heard from the woman whose husband killed all her outside kitties? I recall her being distraught and telling us that she was going somewhere that she wouldn't be able to post from. I've been thinking about her and hoping she and her kids are safe. I don't recall her screen name. She was a fairly recent addition here.

Sorry your arm and shoulder are bothering you. Get those kitties to give you a massage!

  26. not that I know of KW, though I did piss off scarver today

Posted 3 years ago by TheKnittingNinja #

  27. It is easy to miscommunicate sometimes. I'm sure it's nothing serious.

  29. Do you have to work this weekend, Ale?

It seems like there are a lot of folks and kitties in need. Maybe we need to get back to referring people to the TDK fund for help with their cats' needs. I wonder if it is in need of replenishing.

Posted 3 years ago by Kitten Whisperer #

  30. nope, and I definitly need the time off too
