Have your cats ever had a reaction to vaccinations? Mine is 6 and has had all vaccines on time. But this time, she's been lethargic, not eating or drinking or pooping or peeing. She's a little better today, but still not hitting on all cylinders. Any similar experiences?

I can't speak for cats, but I know that people can sometimes feel under the weather after receiving vaccinations. I've experienced this firsthand, with a tetanus shot (never had a bad reaction previously). Symptoms mostly resemble a nasty cold, but without the congestion/drainage; there are aches, mild nausea, exhaustion, and just a general malaise. It should pass soon.
However, if your kitty continues to not eat or drink, that's enough of a concern to visit the vet again and see about hydration & medication to improve the appetite. Try tempting your kitty with a favorite food, and maybe some diluted tuna water.

Hi rosebrown, every time my Bob gets a shot he's down for pretty much the whole day. I will last from about a half to one hour after the shot and until evening when he'll wake up, but not be too energetic. He's normally back to normal the next day. He doesn't eat or drink that day of the shot either, so has no need to use the litterbox either. Keep an eye on your kitty and hopefully she'll perk up. If not, call your vet.
