dixiebell,
so sorry for your dilemma.
Unfortunately, I live too far away to help, but maybe some of the northern californians can. Is there a shelter nearby who can help with the babies?
I will send positive energy your way, and wish you the best of luck.
Hugs and purrs.Posted 4 years ago by artistabobbi TX 1/17 #

So sorry to hear it!
I don't know if they're taking critters in now because they're still dealing with the Pahrump hoarding cases, but Best Friends might be able to help. They're in Utah, but I'm sure somebody could arrange transport. www.bestfriends.org

dixiebell... I don't know about in Oregon, but I was just doing research on care centers here in Phoenix, and some of the long-term care centers allow the residents to have their cat (probably limit of 1) with them. Might be worth checking into for at least one of your babies.

I am at the max for my cats since most apartment rental places only will accept one cat, two if you pay more on the deposit. If I owned a house, then it wouldn't be a problem. The only way I am going to own a house in this housing market in the SF Bay Area is if I inherit one and then I will have to pay taxes so it may be that I cannot even afford to keep it.
Hope you can find homes for your kitties.

Hi, Elaine. I live in Oregon but am not taking any additional cats in. I like One Popoki's suggestion about seeing if the assisted living home would accept one cat along with you. Congratulations upon becoming a new grandmother!
