  1. I was reading Audrey's problem with her Sassy and everyone's advices was helpful and comforting. Simom is 9 weeks and this has never happened before and now all of a sudden it has happened twice in the past weekend. Once with his poop and once with his pee. And I have resorted to washing his paws with a wash cloth with dawn dish detergent and then sticking his paws under the faucet to make sure everything is out and oh what a drama queen he is. If I could only paint a picture of the look on his face...priceless. So I am now going to try and help him cover it and hope that he too will grow out of this soon, because my condo is 85% carpet. I will also be investing in those kitten wipes. My boyfriend and I (he has Shadow, Simon's brother)laughed at the wipes when we saw them, like "well what are we ever going to use these for?" Now I am wishing I had bought them when I saw them.

  2. Hi, Lauren! Welcome to TDK! Those wipes are pretty handy, especially if your kitty is not co-operative. I suggest you buy some.

  3. Hello miu! Thank you for the welcome and the feedback. I am new to this site, my sister stumbled upon it when looking for tips online on how to deal with my little man's problem.

  4. Hi Lauren, nice to meet you...and yes I too laughed at the kitty wipes and within a week went back for some...They are nice to keep around, kitties seem to get into the funniest places...I just used one this weekend, my big boy Blackbeard (you can click on my name in pink to see him) opened up the medicine cupboard and managed to get toothpaste on his fur...lol silly kitty

  5. Blackbeard is adorable! I was never a cat lover, but I recently moved into my own place and thought it would be nice to have someone to come home to and a dog requires too much work and time. And now I am totally in love with Simon and after only 2 1/2 weeks I can't imagine my life without him.

  24. That's so funny MeezerMama, I totally thought the same thing!

2b I'm good, how are you???

My boyfriend is taking Shadow (his kitten-I was watching him since last Wednesday) home with him today so Simon is going to be alone until I get home. So I told him to leave a light on for him in case he is scared in the dark without his brother. He says I baby him. Do I??

    Posted 3 years ago by Lauren5381 #

  25. not at all...many times I leave the tv on, set to animal planet..

    Posted 3 years ago by 2bpurring #

  26. Haha that is so funny~ Typical mothering. I can't help it, I see him as a little baby, not a big boy cat yet that can be alone for long periods at a time. He's only 2 months old and still has no clue about a lot of things yet. When I come home he still gives me the Halloween Cat stand until I say something and my voice calms him. He's a nervous nelly like his momma LOL

  27. Awwww..he is so darn cute it must be hard not to giggle just a little at the Halloween Cat stance..lol

    Posted 3 years ago by 2bpurring #

  28. Believe it or not it scared me when I first got him. I never had a cat before and when he got in his halloween cat stance and hopped around me like he's got springs in his feet I would get nervous. But now I know his personality so when he does do that I come down on the floor to his level and then he rolls over on to his back, paws curled up. So adorable.

  29. Aw, he sounds so cute lauren! Does he let you tickle his tummy, or is that a no go zone unless you happen to like the lacerated look?

Posted 3 years ago by MadcatwomanintheUK #

  30. Oh I just love that springing kitten hop....lol
