   She is 9 years old.

   (And my now-retired former pastor is 66. I didn't know until last week that they had the same purrday. I'll have to look up human equivalents of kitty ages to see which of them is older.)

    Any kitties who would like to come through the wormhole to the Nip Patch in Buttercup's room are welcome to do so. There's lots of tall furniture for climbing, a basket of sweaters for napping, and three feeding stations in there, too.

    I'm not sure who created the Nip Patch. I came home one day to discover that someone had found a small plastic bag of nip and bitten the corner of it open. The nip was scattered all over my bed and on the floor between the bed and some furniture, where a vacuum cleaner will not fit. I brushed the nip on the bed onto the floor. I know I could get it up with duct tape, but the kitties enjoy it so much...
