Hi Paulajeanne, thanks for asking for Kay and her insurance. So far, so good. The company is still in business. So she can still get the cobra. However, they laid off her boss, the girl she worked with and the HR lady. As long as that satelite company stays with the main one, she can do the cobra. Until then, we hang on and hope it continues. If and when it ends, we need to find another insurance policy. Thanks again for asking and hope all is well with you and yours. Hugs and Purrs, Lynn

Lynn now that we are finally identifying the issues the military didn't want to deal with, and I have a doctor that actually works with me,I am doing better. The immune system has some problems that I believe she said are due to the type of anemia I have. Anyway I think I am on the right path, but I also know there is no cure overnight and what I went through last year was so much worse. I survived that I can survive a cold virus.
Husband came home and promised to record for me! I got to see Phelps swim the fly though and that makes anyone smile!

paulajeanne, I must admit, I have not been in contact with Bumblebee lately, heard from her about a month ago. I have been meaning to call her but other things got in my way, so sorry to admit. Will be calling her this week to make sure she is ok. I know she may not have had the funds to keep up with the internet bill as she is a lady of limited means. I will find out what's going on and let you know. I miss her too. thanks for the jolt to reality and what's important. Hugs.

I am so glad to hear that, SM, I am worried about you. Seems like some members other than you have the same immune system illness, but in a different form. Keep smiling girlfriend, what doesn't kill us only makes us stronger and a year later, you are still here!!! Well, Bobbi, where did you go, would have loved to chat on your anniversary of the nightshift thread! So sorry to have missed you and others, but will remember this day!
For all of you hurting, I wish you healing. For those of you, down in the dumps, I wish you sunshine. For those who are overly warm in the temps of your homes, I wish you cool breezes. For anyone who needs prayers, you have mine. For those that need love, you have mine.
I thank you for the trip down memory lane, and remember as I have forgotten, how we all met, and how much we have and still do mean to one another, through times of trouble and times of happiness. That is what has molded us and makes us one. We are here for each other, no matter what. And always remember, what doesn't kill us only makes us stronger. And since we are still here, it hasn't killed us yet!!! Unity and friendship is what built this ship, we are still floating with all members aboard!
Stay well my friends, those I have spoken with and those I have missed, I will see you soon.

It's 3.14 a.m. AZ time, its still 81F outside, quiet for the last 3 hours, so let the closing begin gratis Moonshadow, LV, & Tigger begin....good job everyone & bless you...
check - sweep the floor (never know who has been tossing stuff around)
check - lights off and turns out neon "TDK Night-Shift" and "Poetry Jam" sign in window
check - night lights glowing gently, puts on cool jazz radio for ambiance and stragglers check - cat flaps swings creeeeeeeek (pulls out WD-40), check cat flaps again to ensure they swing quietly and effortlessly
check - doors closed, left just ajar so fuzzbutts don't come to us with complaints
check - dry kibble out as a midnight snack (so hopefully no 5 am breakfast wake-up call) and freshens litter-box. Puts away assorted fuzzy, squeaky cat-toys into Toy-Boxcheck - windows shut for Northern and Southern TDKers, the weather is so unpredictable in the in between seasons.
Goodnight to all our imaginary friends in TDK land, Goodnight Erin and Jim-boy, and all our family and friends of TDK. Wishing good health and spirits to all those in need and in our hearts, and keep our TDK family safe...blessed be... >^..^<

I haven't been very talkative today either, read most threads but just didn't add to them. I had a very unusual phone call from Airy tonight. "Mum, how do you cook goat?" Wow that was different. They had been given a leg roast so I told her how to roast it with added advice from Mr MS who has eaten goat. Got a call a short time ago from Airy to say all done and smells wonderful. Hope it tastes good.

morning Deb, evening MS.
I am sitting here with my coffee and trying to wake up. I have an OBGYN appt today and then I have to go to 2 different labs for all kinds of blood work so I will be gone quite a while today. I have to get Maddie ready this morning to go over Grandma's. Get her nap stuff, her toys, clothes, snacks. I now have so much more respect for mom's out there.

Morning CM, the party was great fun. Airy went as Sacagawea, from Lewis and Clark fame and Jim-man was a cowboy. Eldest daughter was a saloon girl and her partner was a gambler. Mr MS and I were Bonnie and Clyde. There were lots of cowboys and several 60's starlets and my Mum was the Cat in the Hat. Airy had hired a WII console and borrowed a projector and we all had a great deal of fun playing games. Hope your day isn't too tiring with all those appointments.

How fun does that party sound! I hope you took pics. Those also sound like great costumes. I am not that creative. I have got to try a WII one day, those look like so much fun.
The appts shouldn't be too bad in themselves, it's the waiting to get to go see the dr and the lab tech. At least I don't have to worry about Maddie, so I can just take my time.
