  1. This is just a thought...
    Wouldn't it be cool if we could have a place were the names match with a face?
    I mean I know how some of you look because:
    -Huddy's Moma - because she was seen on TV!
    -Meezersmomma - because she has a blog
    -Catwoman - 'cos she sells trillions of houses...
    -Renee from Arkansas - because she is my TDK sis!

    I'm just curious to see the rest of you! I have a picture on my mind and I'm intrigued to see if it matches...
    It is only a suggestion of course, do not want to invade anybody's privacy *blush*

  6. Great idea, Pipa's Mum! I'd love to see what everyone looks like. Like you say, you get a mental picture of someone, and it is always a hoot when you finally actually see the person and they don't look anything like what you imagined! It would be good to also have a list of everyone's pets. I have a terrible time keeping track of which cats go with which person. :-D

  10. Why Thank you, Boyzandme! My 10 year old son took that picture in my front yard. He is shorter than me, so he had to stand on a chair to get the right angle...the angle that leaves the sweatpants I am wearing on the bottom out of the picture! LOL~ It's the strangest thing; Somehow, the skirt to that suit mysteriously shrunk while hanging in my closet and I could not get it on!

    I'm happy to meet you Kitten Whisperer! Can we call you Judge? How gorgeous is that?
    When I worked at the University down the road my picture was on our website, but it's been taken off since I started working at this community college.
    I'd like to toast all the incredible people here at TDK!

  17. KW.. thank you. It is very interesting. It can also be extremely challenging. Right now we have 2 very important gigs coming up and the prep is exhausting. Extra practices, crash-course learning new hulas, and following protocols in costuming. I was having an anxiety attack - well, feeling very anxious anyway - last night and couldn't sleep. Too much. Of course, I allow myself to be this involved and am apparently lacking some coping skills. Like saying NO! LOL

  19. Another beautiful woman! How long ago did you go to Hawaii? It's been over 20 years since I have been there. Fun times, fun times.

    Alrighty, Judge KW! The hubby and I got new phones recently (it had been at least 5 years, it was time). Anyhow, he downloaded my ring tone, it's from the movie "I walk the Line", it's the part where she is angry with him and he tells her, "Awe come on baby," and she says "Baby, baby baby baby". I think my co-workers are getting annoyed, but I love it!

  20. My 2 most recent trips were Sept 2006 and June 2007. Would love to back to the camp next June.. if I can swing it. And definitely in 2009 for the World Hula Conference.

  22. GreatDane.. LOL a mu'umu'u is a Hawaiian dress. That is in the very last picture on that page. I'm behind the woman in the orange dress, and in front of the woman in the black top/red skirt. Does that help?
