  1. Oh--My--G--I am older than Lilly's mother. Suddenly, I can feel my joints creaking. And id I just spot a gray hair on my head?

  7. Hmmmm KapitiKats, how right you are, and it will be sometime, somewhere, when you least expect it. Yes, I am older than KK, but by less than 10 years though!. Yes we do look alike. And yes my sister is beautiful(please see previous sentence). TP, we are of Irish/Scots heritage and there must be the odd pillaging Viking in there, that would account for the hair colour and her temper! Ha ha ha (she's going to get me for that)

  9. Hi Pipa's Mum - Of course you look like a dark, exotic Flamenco dancer - complete with figure-hugging swirly dress and rose between your teeth! ;->

    It is easy to set up a page on MySpace. Just go to http://www.myspace.com , select your country, and register. You will then be able to upload a picture of yourself. Set up a screen name, and you will be given a url that will point directly to your page.

  11. Hi KapitiKats & Moonshadow! Great picture of KK. Irish/Scots with a touch of Viking - I thought I detected a strawberry blonde hair colour! That's not too different from my heritage - Irish on my dad's side and Danish on my mom's side. The red hair came from both sides (well - originally! Now it comes from Loreal! ;-)

  20. janetinellijay: My first marriage was officiated by a UU minister. It was really cool; he lived in Oregon City-about 20 miles upriver from Portland. We got married in a very tiny chapel on the banks of the Willamette River (it is a 130 yr old building that holds 35-50 people). Well, instead of fighting the traffic, he got in his boat and sailed down the river, moored it near the chapel and walked up the bank to the wedding! (And that was probably the best part of that 21 yr disaster of a marriage!) Anyway, I've had a fondness for UU's ever since. Ah...memories...

  21. Hey all, I love who had this idea! I can admit, none of you look like I thought you would. However alot of lovely ladys have graced my screen and one handsome man! Help me if you can. I don't know how to get a pic of me to you. I have a myspace account, but don't want to put the pic up there. Had to open an account to see a grandaughters pics from her mom if she posts. Mom doesn't know I have one and would probably not remember the last name to check. But it's the only chance I get to see her. Also, neighbor behind me, violent man, has one too, and don't know if he has last name, may have, father works in park, don't want to take the chance. If you can tell me how else, if I can, I may put a photo up, would much appreciate it. Have downloaded all of you and have you in a folder with my TDK friends. Kay got a big kick out of this when I showed her. Thanks for your help in advance, Lynn and Keep them coming! Love Lynn

  27. Lynn - Sorry, I meant to reply earlier, but was busy with work. Instead of using MySpace, you could try setting up a page on Facebook.com which is very similar. I don't think that you can completely restrict people from searching and finding you in either place, but you can restrict what anyone will be able to see - up to a point. With Facebook, you can control the name that people will actually see on your page (although I think they could still find you by searching on your real name). Perhaps you could use pseudonym! And, at least if you are in Facebook and not in MySpace, you don't have to worry about your granddaughter's mom or your neighbor accidentally coming across you. Good luck!

  29. MCW, so nice to put a face with a name. Sorry to hear mum is in the state she is. My mother and I have been starting discussions, prompted by my hearing of your situation and others, and I am "trying" to be proactive. Fortunately, tho her health has been iffy these last six months, right now she is up to making decisions regarding the situation.
