Has anyone heard from Julie?? I've not seen a post from her in a long time... and am just a tad concerned.

Dee is doing fine. Fay headed east from Tampa so all they got was a little rain. She is in general doing well.

The last time I heard anything about Julie she was leaving on a road trip to pick up the boys from their dad's house early. I haven't heard anything since then. I've fwd'd some emails to her too and she almost always responds to them...but I haven't gotten a response to them in a long while. I sure hope she's ok.
Dee is doing great! Been emailing with her all morning. :D -

Hey guys! Sorry I haven't been here in a bit. Hectic crazy life here. :)
Just a quick update for everyone. Yes, the boys are back with me! YIPPEE!!!! I missed them so much while they were gone and knew they weren't very happy at the ex's place. I picked them up almost 3 weeks early since he said he wasn't able to handle them. I gladly jumped in the Jeep and drove to get them within a day of being told. Had some car issues but i made it there by the time line I was give.
Today is the boys first day of school! So quiet here at the house now. My oldest is starting junior high(6th) and my youngest is going into 3rd. Hard to believe they are so big now. Of course they didn't want Mom to take them to school, I would embarrass them they all but said. (sniff,sniff) I did get to go to the bus stop though and got a couple pictures. :)
So the boys are home, school has started and the ex is a nut. That leaves the husband. While the boys were away we did a lot of talking. He asked for another chance and tells me he loves me. This will be the last chance I give him. I can only do so much without breaking. So we are still in Chicago and life is hectic as always.
Thanks everyone for checking in on me and emailing me. I will try and do better about getting online and letting you guys know taht things are ok.

Hi Julie! Well another school year begins! I remember vaguely the blur of days, chores & pleasures of school days. A busy time to enjoy...they grow up so fast. I'm praying that your relationship is a success and that hubby's commitment includes those two beautiful boys. Julie, We are all behind you and know that you have already shown how much strength and courage you have, I have no doubt that if hubby doesn't fully appreciate the second chance you have given him.....He will be sorry..

I second what MCW said..that it takes alot of strength to want to take the husband back and make the marriage work. I hope he realizes how close he came to losing you and that you can get some counseling (together and apart) so that he can learn better communication and not ignore you anymore. A marriage is a partnership and he needs to include you in his life.

And if your husband does not know how to include you in his life, he can be taught. The teachers of this particular skill are called counselors, or pastors, or therapists; sometimes they are called "my wife's really mean-tempered girlfriends."
If your husband wants to learn how to be a good husband, he will learn.
If he does not, he will be gone.
You have changed, Julie. You are a lot tougher and stronger than you were when you first came to this site. You are also better able to stand up for yourself, and you've always been excellent at raising your boys. You've learned to love yourself more and to expect more from others, just as you expect more from yourself.
Your husband had better be aware of the fact that you are a wonderful, delightful, strong, intelligent woman. And you are a blessing to us all!
