Fortunately, Mr. Leeny didn't have to have anything expensive done to his teeth yet. The dentist just filed them to smooth them. Looks like he's going to need two partials, one upper and one lower, but that will happen when the teeth start to hurt. There's such widespread decay, it isn't worth trying to repair anything. Full dentures will come 5 to 10 years from now, whenever the capped teeth fail.
When more extensive work is done, Mr. Leeny will apply for a medical loan to pay for it. Because I'm carrying all the family debt, he's probably got a better credit rating than I have. I know the prescreened offers for credit cards that come to him in the mail have better terms than I get.
Went to the GP Friday; "bad" cholesterol is only up 23 points since I stopped taking the statin, and I was eating a lot of eggs and pizza the week they drew the blood. Doctor says we'll just leave things as they are for now and he'll see me in 6 months. Haven't been feeling good this week, though. Got very lightheaded in church on Sunday and actually fell in the narthex; great day to have that happen with the temp being officially installed by the bishop's assistant. Feeling very tired now; hard to concentrate on work because I can't remember what I'm supposed to be doing with various tasks. Didn't sleep very well last night, though; that may be part of it.
