OK I know I am not much of a technogeek but how does one get pictures to show up when posting on TDK? I would love to get a picture of my sweet kitties.

Hi, FNKM! Welcome to the TDK chat forum! We would love to see pictures of your kits! One way to do that is by creating a webpage for them on Catster.com. It's pretty easy and free. You can then edit your profile here and add the address for the Catster page in the website box. That will let us click on your avatar and go to your Catster page. Please click on my avatar to see more photos of my two kits!

Thank you so much for your help willow and whisperer - my husband is the technogeek in the family and I think he was now able to get the job done. Hopefully by tomorrow I will have my Gravatar - this is really a wonderful site. You can always trust a true cat lover.

I'm a big time puter dummy,but,was able to do mine. It took forever to find a username & password that wasn't already taken. And thank goodness they make it easy to crop the pics since I know nothing about doing that & alot of my downloaded pics are the size of a mac truck.
BTW...my 2 beauties are my former ferals Thumper(left) & Spider. Their new mommy renamed them Bullwinkle & Rocky. But they'll always be my Thumper & Spider.

My very own tech support [aka my husband Tom] helped me get my caster page going and I think my Gravatar should be going tomorrow [or Monday if as I assume the kittenmaster has to approve] I sure like this site everyone is so kind and inviting - thanks for the great welcome

Your kits are gorgeous, FNKM! I love Kobi's white stockings. :)
My two kits sent a friends invite to them on Catster. You will get an e-mail from Catster with the invitation. If you accept the invitation, your kits photos will appear on my kits' Catster pages and mine will appear on yours under the heading of "Friends."

I am so glad you found the Catster page; and thanks for the little gifts - hopefully I can figure out how to send one back! It seems when there is a true computer person the other person [me] is a little slow on the uptake - but I am getting better. Frosty and Kobi were both from feral moms and we got them as very young kittens so they are very much pampered house cats. Frosty is a white blue eyed cat and like many of them deaf so she has never been allowed outside. Kobi probably could have been an indoor/outdoor cat but I am an over protective kind of mommy so he just stays in. He is a bit of a scaedy cat so I don't think he minds being in the house.

Hi, FNKM! Welcome to TDK; Your kitties are precious. IMO, it is much better, healthier, and safer for kitties to live an indoor-only life, if at all possible, so don't ever feel like you have to apologize for being a protective meowma. Mac and Grommie left a treat and sent your kits a friends invitation on Catster.
