My brother is doing well. I think he still needs a cane part of the time and maybe always will. He is back to most normal activities.

Sunday will hopefully see me making Church, then collecting Mum in the afternoon so she can come and see Bones. If our friends are going to the music quiz I'll drive down for that in the evening. Think the decking will have to be another time, shoulder/neck are telling me it's a no-no for this weekend.

It starts Monday. A day to dread. We will go from zero to 60 Yikes. I started at a different job still with dining services last Monday. I will be working a combination food court and convenience store the hours are 8 to 4:30 Monday thru Friday and the work hopefully not as hard on my body. I think it is a good change for me

Bones only goes into Father Jack mode when harrassed by E, P or B!! - and much less of recent weeks too, he finally seems to be accepting them. He's always pleased to see Mum, stands up and wobbles for a bit, and allows her to fuss him, and she's always delighted that he still recognises her, even though he sees her once a week!
Sandi, I hope the new job works out OK. And isn't Monday a special day for you anyway...? :-)

No, it's no good, I'm going to have to 'fess up - I hadn't spotted the date on the end of Sandi's ID, but got an email for a reminder thingy I set up yonks ago...just as well, because I am rubbish at remembering birthdays!!

Linda and MCW, yes I will need it and right now it looks like the only celebration I will have is a party on the night shift if I can stay awake long enough. LOL Yes, Linda no more crack of dawn risings although I am still waking up at 4 and not sleeping after that. :( I am sure my body will catch up soon. Hoping anyway. I am thinking I can have a bit of a social life again. Wow

I had planned a birthday celebration with family tomorrow but got word that there is a memorial event planned for my dear friend, Cheryl who died last January so cancelled on the birthday. Cheryl meant a lot to me and I need to be there. I miss her so much We will celebrate later but it will be middle to end of September and celebrate mine and Dad's 86th purrday together. I'm fine with that I like a birthday season

That is my sweet Spooky who I had for 18 years. She was a sweet, loving cat and she adored me. She has been to the rainbow bridge for 9 years but I still miss her a lot.

Hi, Everyone! I have had a great day of sewing on a quilt top with some fabric that I got last week. It has kitties and although it's a simple pattern, I am crazy about the fabric.
We are off tonight to go to dinner at the home of some friends. Actually, it is the son and d-in-l of my best friend here. They have just bought a home and this is their first ever dinner party. I fed Andy a snack.... just in case! I don't think that either of them are known for their love of culinary skills!

Just a quick howdy all!
And Miu yummmmmmy but I have a piece of chocolate cocomunt vream cheesecake waiting for me! We had lunch today at The Cheesecake Factory! Had the lunch special small salad and a small pizza. Ate the salad not that small though heeeheee and 2 of the four pieces, between that and water and bread ugh stuffed heehee!
