And we're open for business. If anyone wants to blow up some balloons and help decorate before KW gets here, feel free!

The bar is open, buffet table is loaded and groaning. And tonight as a special treat we have some specially imported tango, flamenco and salsa dancers to entertain and give us dancing lessons!

I will dance, KK. I have always wanted to learn how to tango (got an elementary lesson once) and salsa, and I love to watch flamenco. Just pour the champagne down my throat and watch me go (or put your hands over your eyes, one or the other), lol.

I can do a bit of an Irish jig, but after a sip of Bailey's ... oh, I'll just set up the biscotti table. And I brought some of the lemon-rosemary muffins and the chocolate bar cookies with sour cream!

Hi Jcat! I'd love to learn those dances also. However after too much champagne I have a nasty habit of falling off dance floors so I'd better have my lesson sober.

It is, it's one of those days when it's warmer outside in the sunshine than in my draughty old house. However, I have work to do and wood to strip so alas, don't think I'll be spending much time outside. The cats have been lying on the verandah in the sun...

You're right. I just don't want to see any more "good-bye forever" notes from people I care about. I still miss Jo from Blairsville, and there are others.

I am argumentative myself, and a mental tussle among friends is a rare delight and a wonderful opportunity to agree to disagree. My angel mother used to tell me that minds are rarely changed, but hearts are broken all the time. Seemed like a good thought to keep me polite during disagreements.

Aaaaand...*Emma lobs a chocomocha cake at LV and ArtistaBobbi, and runs toward TKN with a huge chunk of fresh watermelon* !!!
