  20. Was suppose to go to Lubbock this weekend. Canceled. Daughter had to go to the hospital today. She has a flesh eating staph infection. It appears that this is running rampant in the high school. She is the queen of germex so I guess we both thought she was safe. She goes back to the hospital tomorrow. If the antibiotics aren't having an effect then they have to take her into surgery. Yesterday I thought she was having an allergic reaction to an insect bite from sitting in the grass at band practice. Wrong on that one!

  23. The doctor said he has seen over 20 cases just this week and there were more last week. I am thinking that they are not cleaning the school well at all. It can me picked up in locker rooms, band halls, and desks. And they say kids don't share!! She is on heavy duty antibiotics. Spent 4 hours in with the doctor today and have to go back tomorrow.

  25. OMG sm! I am sending positive healing energy to your daughter. I thought that was contracted through water - guess I am wrong! You need to start a new thread about that!!! Get that white light flowing....

    FH, Zip is the great escape artist. Every time the door opens to let the dogs in and out, he is gone. He never stays out long, or goes very far, but he does it.
    Either that or he gets up into my bedroom ceiling. My ceiling collapsed from a leak from the roof, that we are trying to get repaired, but the ceiling hole gets bigger and bigger because this extremely heavy cat jumps up on my chest o drawers, and jumps up into the attic space. (Our double wide has a pitched roof). He is very sneaky about it, too. I've only caught him at it once. but from the sound of the "THUD" when he gets down, I know it's him.

  30. Bobbi and KK thank you. She is scared that she will lose a part of her leg. They said tomorrow if they have to remove the tissue it will leave a scar. I am sitting there saying who the heck cares about a scar? At least she will have her leg!
