   I don't know; I just try to make sense of a world that at times makes no sense, kind of like a child would if that child were permitted the freedom to ask the tough questions and possessed the vocabulary and the wisdom to do so.

   One thing very scary, my sons best friend about 3 years ago committed suicide at the age 26 of an overdose of vicadan and other pain meds...You mentioned Jeremey was 26, your friends daughter,26.. My son just turned 26 two weeks ago...that puts this mom on high awareness!!!

   Relax; 26 may be 13 times 2, but no superstition is attached to the number 26 itself. Think back to when you were 26; I know when I was 26 I was caring for my grandmother (who has now been in Heaven for almost seven years now), and there were many moments when I thought the world would be better off without me; now that I'm older, I'm not so ready to leave this rock. Come to think of it, my grandmother would've been 104 this November – 13 times 8, or 26 times 4. If your son is making good choices with his life, you can breathe easier.

   Thanks Vicki..he is a good boy! He and his girlfriend have been together 2 years, they have 4 cats, decent jobs...With the exception of his stress level last night while stuck on the freeway for 4 hours, he is generally happy!!
