First I want to say thank you CW for calling sorry I wasn't home to talk to you!!!
I am back from 2 1/2 weeks of he**! As you all know I left early for my vacation because my Uncle had past away. We(My youngest son, my great nephew and I) arrived In Tannersville NY around 4:30 pm at my Aunts house, My cousin arrived about 20 minutes after us. After dinner of pizza's and hanging out with my Aunt and cousins(3 others live close by)and drinking a whole bottle of Bailey's with one cousin it was definatly bed time! The next morning 8/18, I recieved a phone call from my daughter that my niece had the baby IT's a Girl!! Julia Michelle 8lbs 4 ozs. 21" long! Both Mom,Dad and baby are fine! She made me a great Aunt X4(Ouch)
I asked my Aunt what we were planning for Dinner between the wakes she had no idea! So I said i'd run to the store and pick up stuff for dinner! I left the boys with my Aunt and Cousins. I went to the store and picked up stuff for dinner and arrived back at the house and my cousin came running out telling me that my great Nephew had fallen on his bike around the corner and he had just called an ambulance... I got more grey hairs!
The boys were bike riding and my great nephew caught his foot in the spokes of his bike He flew over the handlebars and landed face 1st on the road and then slid on his shoulder and flipped again and landed on his back! My youngest saw all this happen! I jumped in the car and went to the seen of the accident! It was not a pretty picture! A visiting nurse was passing by and stopped she told me not to move him as she thought he had hurt his neck! My 1st instinct was to hug him and let him cry on me! Instead I held his hand and waited for the ambulance! The ambulance arrived and he was put in a neck brace and on a back board! we road the 45 minute ride to the hospital, Me freaking and him crying :( We arrived at the hospital and he was wisked off to have a catscan and x-rays done! I had to make that terrible phone call to my Niece(Not the one who had the baby) about her son! I tried calling her house and got the answering machine, I didn't want to leave this on that so I called her husbands cell phone and got ahold of him and told him the doctor would call him soon(I had a letter stating I could stand as a proxy for them.) My nephew came back to the room he looked terrible his left eye was almost swollen shut and he had road rash on his face and shoulder and his chin was swollen 3x it's normal size. he was also complaining that his right thumb hurt so the doctor sent him in for another x-ray of his thumb, She also called his Dad! He didn't break anything in his face or back or neck(Thank the lord!). He did break his thumb though! After being in the hospital for 6 hours and with pain medication and a cast! we headed back to my aunts house! my niece and her husband were on the way up to pick up there son!! He was a sorry looking case! They arrived at 10pm. stayed about 2 hours and headed home! I felt soo bad! The next day we burried my uncle! Wednesday my son and I decided to give my Aunt a break and headed into catskill to see the Cats they were about 2 1/2 feet tall made of cement they were all dressed up and painted really cool(I will post the pictures when I can) we spent the day in Catskill, We bowled(I won) and ate lunch out and just took it easy! That night at my Aunts my cousins came and my son went home for the night with them> The next morning I took my Aunt to Veteran affairs to take care of my Uncles Business and I took her out for Lunch. We went back to her house and my cousin and his family, brought back my son and came for dinner! We were eating dinner when the phone rang and it was my other cousin, His 56 year old best friend died of a massive heart attack. This sent the whole family into a frenzy again! My Aunt took this really hard as she had just lost her younger brother and now she has lost a kid who has grown up in her house! On Friday we just took it easy. On Saturday I took my son and we went to Woodstock and spent the day there! On Sunday I took my Aunt to Church and my car broke down! On monday my car was towed to my cousins(He's a mechanic) He said he thinks it is the fuel pump, So tuesday I get the fuel pump and he puts it in the car still doesn't work he thinks it's something electric and has the car towed to his friends shop(My car is still there!!) they can't figure out what's wronge with it??? On Wednesday my aunt recieves a call from my uncle in North carolina that my uncle who lives down the road from me died! AT this point, I just want to go home! Thursday the guy who has my car calls and says he's got my car finished it was a crank fuse??? 10 minutes later he calls and says he was taking it for a test drive and it died again... I just want to go home... So Friday I rent a car,6 & 1/2 hours later (we hit terrible traffic and it took us 3 hours to go 3 miles!!!) I arrived home! When I got home my daughter tells me that one of the water pipes broke in the basement(My Nephew fixed it) she managed to get it fixed! and she also cleaned up the mess! Then I go to go on the computer and It wouldn't come on! yesterday was my 1st day back to work and I find out that I have the worse kid in the school in my class... Today was the 1st day with the kids. All I will say is that I wanted to go home... I'm Back i'm broke and i'm really depressed Please send the prayers and the white light my way! I Really Really Need it!!

I think you've got all the bad stuff out of the way for a good long while, Dorie! I'm sorry for your troubles. You are an amazing woman to come through all of that trauma and still take time to check in here!! Lots of hugs and TDK white light coming your way to restore you and ease your mind.

Oh Dorie! Poor Dear Dorie! I sat hear reading your post aloud to Jeff..we just kept saying, "Oh No!" over and over and over. How can anyone have so much terrible luck? I'm stunned and we've already stopped and said a prayer for you that your life's turmoil will be healed. {{{{{{Dorie}}}}}} So happy you're home and wish things had gone differently in your absence.

Oh my goodness Dorie, that was a week or so from he**. You've had the things come in threes as far as losing relatives/friends and the bike/car/flood incidents. Wishing that from now on you have plain sailing.

Last year I changed my name to Joe Btfsplk, But I forgot who it was made me change it, Because she said that life would get better!(Ha HA HA)
I know God won't give me too much to handle! I just wish he didn't trust me so much!
As for today... Car is still not fixed he's having a hard time finding the computer for it... I was almost ran over by a bus doing bus duty...The teacher I work with got attacked by one of our students and got bit really bad(The kid took a chunk out) He is still at the hospital as I write this!
It is getting to the point that I don't want to get out of bed in the morning!
Dear Lord please Make it stop!!
