  3. Hey please keep me in your prayers! I just got off the phone with the car guy he is telling me it's going to cost about $1500 or more to fix it! Where am I going to get the money for that! I'm in tears!
    Peace

  4. Oh, Dorie. I'm so sorry it will cost that much to fix!! I don't blame you for feeling overwhelmed. What kind of car is it? Is it in good shape other than the current problems? Do you have any mechanically inclined friends or family who might be able to help do the work? I'm sorry, Sweetie. {{{hugs}}}

    You are definitely in my prayers!

    It was at my cousins and he couldn't fix it! So this is his friend, that's now fixing it! The car is a 1995 Chrysler cirrus it is in great condition and only has 72,000 miles on it! I just don't know what to do! I've tried to sell off some antiques but the market is bad and nobody is biting! I'm now going through the jewelry boxes and I'm planning on going to the jewelry store to sell some stuff today depending on the weather! Hopefully it will be enough!

  7. Good luck today with the jewelry sale, Dorie. I hope it is enough to get the car fixed. I hope it lasts a good long time with no further trouble!!

  9. My heart aches for you Dorie...life can be such a test of faith and will literally bring us to our knees when we least expect it. Sending prayers and positive energy that things will soon come together and smooth out. I'm just wondering if it's worth repairing the car. Depending on the value it holds minus the repair costs could you get enough out of it that someone buying it as a fixer-upper can provide you enough cash to get something different to get you by for a while? {{{hugs}}}
