   Heyyy
   Ive just posted a topic about my 10 week old kitten Ruby nibbling/sucking my ear and as I got such a great response I wondered if any1 could make sense of another small query I have...

   At around 10pm every night she starts running around across 3 rooms, slightly growling and jumping up at everything! Once shes got rid of what seems to be some kitten anger she slows down and seems ready to play like usual! I just wondered if this would maybe a time when she would have fought and played with her siblings!
   Its not really a problem me and my family just let her run around and get on with it (and make sure we dont wiggle our fingers or toes else she would pounce!) I just wondered if any1 elses kitten had done this before?

   Oh yes...Blackbeard and Betty have both gone thru this..and still do it..if your able, you might consider and kitty companion for lil Ruby!! so she has someone to run and play with..

   Me again--Patches does that--she jumps from the back of the sofa up to the top of the curio then up to the plant shelves, then she runs the length (18 ft) and back again and again! Most of my cats got what I call "Night Crazies". Perfectly normal.

   Sarah, my cats do this every night too. It's usually around 9 or 10 and they turn into absolute maniacs. Like SM said though, perfectly normal.

   When Suki was still alive mine used to chase each other. Now Polly just chases shadows or her tail.

   I imagined it was pretty normal but im glad to hear Rubys not the only crazy kitten!
   I read on another website that a kittens peak is at about 14 weeks when they go bonkers! I dont no how true this is tho?

   My kitty did this all her life. She lived to be 17. I loved it it was like she was wild and crazy!!!

   Its the kitty crazies and they all have them, some subside when they get older and then again some kitties keep them all their lives :)

    Mine do the Indy 500 races which is their chasing around the apartment for no reason. Sometimes Mia will just do it by herself. It usually is either around 10pm or it will be at 4am.
