    There was a person way back in my fathers family tree that was named Spicy!
    And her last name was Barker!!! She married into my fathers side of the family but way way back ....I kid Wayne that we are related.

    Ireland was great! We stayed in a place called Ballycastle on the northern coast of Northern Ireland. The countryside and coastline are gorgeous! The first couple days we were there, the Olde Lammas Fair was on..."Oldest traditional fair in Ireland, horse and sheep sales and hundreds of street stalls. Street entertainers.." Mostly it was loads of street stalls selling loads of junk, but it was good fun. We also went to the Bushmills Distillery (Irish Whiskey!) Giant's Causeway, had a campfire and singsong on the beach, went to Derry (Londonderry), and finally had a fantastic evening with the family of the woman who organised the trip. We were treated to a performance on the Irish harp by her 12-year-old niece, some Irish dancing by her 9-year-old niece and various other singing, dancing and playing! Quite a trip!

    I'm afraid that I am not a whiskey fan! I think I prefer the Irish whiskey to Scottish whisky, but I'd rather pass on both and have a Bailey's instead! Oh yeah - we did that too! Bailey's in hot chocolate! Yum!

    Oh Rubia that sounds like heaven!! My daughter has the opportunity to go to Scotland, Ireland, and Wales the summer of 2009. She has to choose between that trip or the one she has to Romania. She is torn. This might help her.

    Rubia, I am so jealous that you get to live in the UK and get to go to Ireland. My hubby and I would love to live over there. We fell in love with the country when we were over there. Those links were great. How beautiful!
