Owlwatcher and madcatwoman referred me to a webpage called chipin. I’m normally the kind of person who doesn’t ask for money from others, and I feel slightly weird about it, but I’m in a rough spot lately and any little bit could help. Taco still has over 3,000 dollars in vet bills from his multiple hospital visits and everything he’s been through.

I most certainly don’t expect anything out of anyone, but if anyone can spare a spare dollar or even just fifty cents to help me out, that would be incredible.

Thank you so much to everyone, even those who are unable to financially help right now I thank you all still for being here throughout all these months to emotionally support me and become such great friends. It really is like a second family here.

Is there any way to buy more than a month’s worth of meds at one time? It’s often less expensive that way for human drugs. Maybe you can buy directly from the manufacturer or distributor and save some money.

Thank you so much everyone, it felt good to even just put down his story and get it all out at once which I’ve never really been able to do before.

Cheetah I buy it in 2 month bulk at a time, it is cheaper that way. I also buy it from online which is cheaper than the vets office. The vet WAY overcharges for it; thank goodness for 1800petmeds!

Wonderfully put together chip in page. I love the pictures. Taco has such beautiful blue eyes. I am so glad Feeny and Taco bonded so well. Love the pictures of them sleeping together as well as Taco laying on top of Feeny. You are such a good mama to him, ginirosaru.

Hi Gini,

So sorry little Taco was so sick. Very happy he is doing much better. You done a great job on the chipin page. I had one a couple months ago, but I couldn’t ever get it to work for me like that. Rebekah and I will chip in a little something to help out. It won’t be much, for we do not even have enough to pay all of our bills. But, I can personally relate to what your going through and I “know” how hard it is to ask for help like this. It is very scary, you never know how people are going to react. I wish you all the luck with your chipin. I received a lot of help from here with my chipin. There is some wonderful people here. Take care!

Ginirosaru, the page is awesome. I love all the pictures, especially when Taco is with Feeny. I remember some of those pictures you shared when Taco was sick and such a little guy!!!

I am hoping to contribute, payday is Monday so I will have to see what I can do. I know the bills are hard, but I have to commend you and just say thank you for sticking my Taco and getting him well, giving him a furever home and so much love, you are an awesome mommy!!!!

You are all so incredible generous (and I don’t just mean monetarily, I also mean with your hearts and words) and you are all amazing people. Why am I still not showing up at the website, I wonder? I paid through Paypal, have the receipt and made a comment. It says 9 contributors and they are all accounted for with 9 comments, none of which are mine?

And by the way, the contributor who says she was alerted by her sister-in-law once removed, is *my* ex-husband’s sister. I had forwarded her the link, knowing that with her generous heart and love of animals she would contribute. We describe our relationship to each other as sisters-in-law, once removed as a little joke. 🙂

Hi Gini and Taco! I love the pics on your chip-in page! They are so cute. They remind me of my Gidget when she was a baby. I never could get her to sit still long enough to get any pictures though! She was always on the move! lol Gidget is now 3 yrs. old. Maybe someday, I’ll make her a catster page. 🙂

CW,

If you used an electronic check instead of using a credit card, it will take time for the payment to show up because Paypal waits for the money to clear before allowing the money to go through. This also happens sometimes with money sent directly from a checking account.

Ooooohhhh….I used Paypal, but it came directly from my bank account and not a credit card. Thanks for clearing that up, OW. With it being the weekend, it hasn’t gone through yet.
