Ah no, the bath plug is still a mystery. We handed in our list of damages for to the office and noted that the bath plug was broken :) I'll probably just go buy a normal bath plug and unscrew this one.
We keep noticing a smell of gas every time we go into the kitchen (it's a gas stove and oven which I've never had before) and the office said they'd send someone around to check. It's most likely me being overly sensitive.
I did go buy a lamp yesterday, by walking a mere 200 metres away. another resident was moving out and had advertised a floor lamp fro $10. It was a very nice lamp and very useful as half our lounge doesn't get lit by the main light. we're going to go check out another resident which advertised a printer/scanner/copier for $15 today so we might win there too, and i'm checking out a microwave by another resident next friday ($30).
It's making shopping easy :)
We still don't have bed, and i noticed this morning that the air bed seems to be losing air quicker than i would expect. I might step up that hunt :)

Have you used the gas stove yet? I hope there is nothing wrong with it. I've never had one either.
You asked if Albertsons is a good store for grocery shopping. We almost always head to the Albertsons near our home for our groceries. They have a free card that gives you extra savings on a lot of the items they sell. I think they benefit by getting information about customer shopping habits/preferences and you get to save some money. I think it is worth it! My husband is a great store coupon user. If you subscribe to the local newspaper, you will often find coupons for extra savings. Our Albertsons stores honor the coupons of other stores like Safeway. Every little bit helps! :)
