Love your top five, but something made me look at your profile. The only country I know of where people say Doona is our neighbour to the west, and lo and behold I was right. Jessi, I am so glad to have an Aussie littermate, finally! No offense to my dear Kiwi littermates (yes, NZ living continues to tempt me), but a friend of mine just moved from Texas to the Brisbane area. She's getting settled in and has already lost 5 lbs. just acclimating herself to the hilly terrain. (Her part of TX is flat, Flat, FLAT!)

Moonshadow...I didn't realise that aussies were the only ones who said doona...lol! I really want to go to NZ sometime...You know there is a kiwi girl that is in the top 12 of Australian idol. She is maori and seriously the best singer I've ever seen on any of the shows. She's just captivating.
Gattakitty...I'm a brissy girl...well not anymore, but I grew up there and moved to melbourne about 5 years ago. The one thing about Brisbane compared to any other state I've been to...(sydney, melbourne, perth..so far) is that Brisbane is sooo hilly. If your friend lives near the city around Red hill or Bardon or West End, then there are some of the steepest hills I've ever seen. I think also the weather in Brisbane helps you lose weight cause the lifestyle is different. My family all lives there and I can't wait to go up at Christmas.

There may be other places that use doona Jj but Aust is the only one I know off. Two of my best friends were from Aussie and have gone back there, Brisbane and Coffs Harbour. We adopted their cat from one couple when they moved back to Brisbane, unfortunately Sharp only lasted a few more years and died from skin cancer and brain tumour.
