Surrey Hotel Denies Lodging to Wounded Soldier

  2. Hmmm. Interesting, Whilst I IN NO WAY condone the actions of the hotel/duty receptionist, it is true that "squaddies" can and do cause a lot of trouble in Army towns in the UK, as one of the comments acknowledges. I would understand a hotel not wanting to accept a group booking - but to turn away a lone, injured soldier is unforgiveable, and the bad PR this hotel will receive will ensure they pay the price.

  3. It took some time, but Hubby found the website for "American Amusements, Ltd." It appears that their primary focus is American-themed places similar to our "Dave & Buster's" or "Beef O'Brady's"
