Since 2003 this is the first time they have had 2 space shuttles on launch pads at the same time....Endeavour is the back up for the Atlantis. Guess they are going up for a repair mission on the Hubble telescope. Kind of cool watching both of them sitting out there, its on CNN news. Guess I will have to check out the NASA channel on tv when I get home, they show the launches, workings, and even the walk-abouts on the various missions.

But CM, we like the head you've got now! ;-) Good to hear that Fishie is swimming like a good 'un.
Thanks MS, interesting site, I will keep an eye on it. Looks like there's nothing heading over the Wairarapa at the moment but maybe that's just as well -- baby, it's COLD outside. But when summer comes, I quite enjoy being out at night, looking at the stars, even if I don't know what the heck I'm looking at.
Deb, how's work tonight?
-
You would think she would settle down...it was about 4 or 5 am and I was sitting up on the couch watching tv, blowing my nose and feeling miserable and she was moving all around and keep moving then I realized, I don't think she liked the way I was sitting, so I put my feet up and she stopped. :)
Thanks Deb, I hope I feel better too, it's supposed to be such a great weekend too and I have a cold. aghhh

OMG, I've just noticed what the time is, I was going to have an early night tonight. It's 12.33am, so much for early. CM, take it easy today and you too Fishie. Deb, no going onto the roof after you've finished work. Jcat, it's a bit cool here tonight but I suppose that's because we had such a lovely cloud free day. I'm heading off to bed now. See you tomorrow/today.

Thanks for those Deb, I've book marked them for future looking at. I think my neighbourhood is awake now, some fool just drove up the road with his horn tooting out Dixie loudly. HRH was even disturbed. Oh for an alien to beam him away. Night all.

Sweet dreams MS, yes, wasn't it a lovely day? I was working for most of it but I managed to get out into the garden to do a spot of weeding and tidying up too (helps me think...) Good to hear about work Deb, don't worry, I'll keep it quiet my end. And thanks for the sites, I'm going to bookmark them. CM, maybe it was the TV shows Fishie didn't like... :)

No problem with the sites, they just recently put the NASA channel on DirectTV so I watch their feed sometimes, normally pretty boring but they do cover the take-offs/landings.
