SO glad you got to see your wee baby and that your dad is obviously missing you like crazy. Your mum was obviously making an effort too. There is hope there, for a compromise, they obviously regret whatever happened. Hoping that Sultie can come and stay with you while they're away and that his health improves and that it will work itself out, with goodwill on both sides.
But most of all, {{{HUGS}}} to you and Sultie!

Oh Metsa, I am so glad that you were able to be with Sultan while he is so ill. It seems that your Mum was at least respectful of the fact that you were there for your childhood chum and that was really great that she was able to do this for you and Sultan. She obviously seems to know that you care so much about him. As Emma says, she is hurting too and is probably not able to handle it so instead is lashing out at you. Here is hoping that you and your Mum will be able to mend things between the both of you and that you can help take care of Sultan so he gets better.

I'm glad things went as well as they did, Metsa. Was there any conversation about you possibly caring for Sultan while they are gone? It would be such a gift if it could be worked out.

Thank you so much for your support, it really means a lot to me and helped me through today. Mum said she was unlikely to go away with dad- despite her email, because of the cats condition. I'll forgive the emotional blackmail if she stays with him. Ill keep in touch, and thank you for the support.
