While he is on me and I am loving on him he will immediately attach to my straps! I have to scruff him and open his mouth just to get him off of me. I don't know what his deal is but it is kind of crazy! I can't seem to get him to leave them alone!!
Does your cat have an obsession?
My Luna goes berserk for string. She sees one and that is immediately all she can see. I would love to know how they developed these obsessions!
Umm cat obsession........
Well Lady Muck insisted in opening the bedroom door ever night and playing fetch of course was his little party trick so he was.obsessed with bits of paper.
Maneki was obsessed with water. She would only drink direct from a sink tap and she would sneak into the shower when she heard the water running.
Smelly Cat was obsessed my bf :-)
and buttons is obsessed with my hair (its very long and he thinks its his toy) and he is obsessed with insects as that is his only hunting time because he is an indoor only cat. so if some poor moth or fly gets stuck inside he stalks and hunts his favourite at the moment is hunting spiders even though i don't like them i don't like seeing them killed. Oh but i give buttons a reward everytime he catches a an earwig really can't stand them things!!!! Its so funny watching him hunt with only one good arm.
It must have its origins in predator-prey interactions, but now sure how the straps fit in! Resembles prey tails in some way? That's why I always figured string enticed them to attack.

Mango's one and only obsession is food.
Peeper has an obsession with sleeping on my head. I can't tell you how many times I've woken up to a cat wrapped around my skull.
I can only imagine what Moki's obsession will be.... she's already got so much personality for being 4 weeks old.
Like us, they have their quirks and wants I suppose :)
