I'm back

  1. I'm still stunned about Molly's moving to the Bridge, though. I have some news about Mr. Leeny's teeth and yesterday's kitten (both good), but I think I'll have to wait a few minutes before posting that.

  6. Okay, I'm ready now.

As you've seen, Milo, yesterday's kitten, belongs to a colleague of mine and I referred his parents to TDK.

Mr. Leeny's oral surgery went very well. The doctor ended up removing 17 teeth: all of the upper teeth and the four lower front teeth, which were in very bad condition. He's healing nicely. I received an e-mail from the person at my church who's processing donations. A total of more than $500 is in the works; that will cover the extra tooth that's already been removed (the doctor didn't want to leave just one tooth on top) plus 4 of the remaining 10 teeth.

  8. Also, our department's research/intervention project, which was featured on the University web page, was also on the front page of the local paper last week:

  10. We are proud, 2bp. This is a very effective program for a population who do not have many resources available to them.

I just found out from my colleague, whose wife was the one who posted Milo's pic yesterday, that he didn't even know what a gravatar was! I had to explain and, of course, show him my kitties on my gravatar.
