   i just brought home a bengal kitten and we already have a red point siamese kitten. the bengal is a month older but she hisses and swipes at our siamese. i'm just wondering how long it will take for her to adjust. i really cant let them out of the room cuz my mom would flip. that and our one dog would tear them up. i'm just a little concerned that she wont adjust at all. butterball, our siamese, is curious about her. rumpelteazer, our bengal, just kinda hisses and has a deep growl i can hear from across the room.

   First of all I love the names of your babies! But yes in time they should get used to eachother. Just be patient. My cat Frank hated my kitten when I got him and now they are best friends :)how's

   thank you:) last night i had butterball in the cat carrier because he gets too rowdy in the early hours (like 1-3 am) of the morning. rumpelteazer came right up to my bed and slept with me, she's a bit more mellow, although i'm sure that will change. she's still hissing at him and she mews alot. when i have our dog out, she doesnt pay any attention to butterball, and he bats at her constantly in that state. unfortunately i'm not sure if my boyfriend will understand that they will get along in time.

   Im sure things will be ok. Its like when you have a baby and you bring him home to meet the older sinking. They get jealous and nervous but they eventually become friends.
