  1. The kittehs are setting up the buffet tables, your choice on what you wish and desire :)

Ok now we won't hijack any of the threads, lol!

  2. Thanks, Deb, plus we get apricot brioches, warm from the oven, at least I am going to, so it's got to be good!

Yawning a bit this evening though, may not be here for long. They promised us driving rain today but all we got here was a bit of a spit around dinner time. I have to drive to Welly tomorrow so don't really want it to be persisting down, with zero visibility up on the top of the Rimutakas...

  3. Good morning Deb, would there be any fresh pasta on the menu? If so I'll have some and then some homemade chocolate to follow. LOL
It's a warm night here but damp and blustery outside. HRH is out hunting for a mouse supper.
Oh Chch had a 4.3 quake 15 minutes ago.

  4. Oh no, poor Chch. Just when it seemed like things were quietening down before Christmas and then the whole thing starts all over again. Their nerves must be rubbed completely raw.

  5. Yes, yes there will be fresh pasta especially if it is *rasta pasta* (that is what y'all invented right according to KK) :) And Airy is making the chocolate isn't she....poor unsuspecting meeses, they do not know the great huntress is on their trail.

Interesting tidbit of news on Yahoo!

Nation losing a day with rare switch...Residents of Samoa will go to sleep on Thursday and wake up on Saturday this week. Samoa is moving on the other side of the International Date Line, hmmm.

  6. And I saw that the Police Station is Chch is being abandoned too because of them being unsure of the building's safety. I can't even begin to imagine how unsettling that must be to the residents there, constant earthquakes :(

  7. The residents at a Chch zoo have been as nervous as the humans but are learning to cope.

  8. Also the historic police station in Lyttelton, Deb. It is cheaper to build a new building than to save the historic one so they are just going to knock it down. No real attempt to save any of the historic buildings :( Not blaming the police here, I know they have no budget, but what price NZ's heritage? This government couldn't give a toss.

  9. That must be scary for all the animals on the South Island and especially around the Chch area. Wish that the earth would settle down for a long dormant period so everyone could catch their breath and relax for a bit.

Heard a weird noise, after checking its Lil Girl snoring while she was sleeping inside the hallway linen closet :) She goes in there to be in a quiet zone at times.

  10. Jane, I knew it was another police bldg too just couldn't remember which one. Its a shame that they can't restore it, you are right it is a piece of heritage.

  11. Oh, Lil Girl, hee hee. I do like to hear a contented kitty snore. Millie sometimes snores very very quietly...

Posted 1 year ago by jcat #

  12. Lol, this was not even quiet! It was vibrating thru the wall that separates the linen closet and the computer room, I do like when she is sleeping deeply enough to have her kitty snore going in full tilt.

  13. Still love this video, it was on Yahoo! about 6 months ago and is now one of the year's best...its the cat who was caught barking at someone until the owner comes in and then it meows!

  14. OMG, that's a mighty big snore for a L'il Girl...

  15. Morning everyone! Evening to our Kiwi friends. Hope you are all well. I am up and getting ready for work. Not much going on, just the same old same old. Have a great day/night! :)

  16. He he he, Lil Girl snores with gusto and quite unashamedly. I like the idea of her going there for a quiet zone.
Way too much of Chch's history is ending up as rubble.

  18. Morning MC, hope that you have a good day!

Jan, agree with you, its a shame that the Chch's history is going this way.

Posted 1 year ago by AZDEBRA 5/27 & crew #

  19. Morning MC, have a good day at work. Ahhhhhhhh, the same old same old, that's life for you.

    Posted 1 year ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

  20. Hi, MC, so nice to have you posting again. Have a great day! How are Betty and Wilma doing? Sometimes the same old, same old is good...

  21. I'm going to head off to bed now, I'm way too knackered to keep my eyes open any longer. Sweet dreams Jcat and Deb and gentle headbonks to all your furkits, even the snoring ones.
    Nighty night all

    Posted 1 year ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

  22. G'night Jan, sleep well and have sweet dreams, headbonks from the crew to the huntress of the night :)

Posted 1 year ago by AZDEBRA 5/27 & crew #

  23. And from the land of the great snorer, Lil Girl (she's not alone I do it too), I am about to head off to bed too. The eyes are saying its time to close them and drift off to sleep.

Sleep well and have sweet dreams Jan, headbonks to Libs and Millie in the morning.

Posted 1 year ago by AZDEBRA 5/27 & crew #

  24. Thanks Deb. The huntress of the night is giving me the evil stink-eye because I won't let her back outside. I'll have to sleep with one eye open I think just to feel safe.

    Posted 1 year ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

  25. Lol, HRH it's time to come inside and snuggle up to sleep.....stop with the stink-eye!

Posted 1 year ago by AZDEBRA 5/27 & crew #

  26. Me too, I'm off as well, night all, sleep well and sweet dreams and may you all be kept safe from your kitties!

Posted 1 year ago by jcat #

  27. Ditto on that Jane, ciao >^..^<

  28. Oh, poor Christchurch! I think that all I want for 2012 is for NZ to get a geological break! (well, that and a new job would be nice).

Posted 1 year ago by Kilroy #

  29. ..... sweet dreams JCat and MS............. Morning Deb, MC and Kilroy :)

..... a beautiful cool morning here today, should have a few days of nice low temps......... *digging* in my closet for my sweaters.........

..... I wish I could stay here snuggled up with Abby in bed today, but alas, my empty office beckons! .............. so far this week, I've only seen 5 agents, 3 of whom popped in for an hour or so for a closing (they want to get paid)............ oh well, I'll tackle some more of my clean/purge projects...... at least I'm productive!

...... goodness, just read that about ChCh!...... they have certainly had their share of 'shake ups' recently!...... prayers for all and their families!

...... hope everyone is enjoying their holidays!

  30. Hello to those still up or getting up, and good-night to those leaving us. (Wish I could go back to bed.)
Had a wonderful Christmas with my son and family in Michigan. Back now and at work already.
So sorry to hear Christchurch got hit with the earthquake. I agree that things need to settle down all over the world. It seems that we've all had our share of unusual weather or geological problems.
(The best part of coming home...having my cats sleep with me last night.)
