   How disappointing. He doesn't even realize how lucky he is to be able to have dogs and extra time to lavish on them. What a tragedy.

   TL I think they do love their animals, not their pets. I think they view animals as animals and not so much as pets who are part of the family. I don't think anyone who can hunt and shoot any species is a true animal lover. The Queen has always had corgie dogs and I have read she really spoils them but I wonder if the degree she spoils them is the same degree we would, since she was also a hunter. I just feel hunters are not in the same category as other animal lovers, no matter what they say. How could they be if they are willing to kill an animal for sport?

   I also disagree that Edward hit his dogs because of privilege. Edward hit his dogs because he is cruel. If he is the type to abuse an animal it is in his chacter and he would be like that whether he lived a privileged life or not. Just my opinion.

    I'm sure he thought he was disciplining the dog, but that's not discipline, that's cruelty. That dog was doing what he was trained to do. I agree with Petpntr...the royals do not see their animals as pets. Unfortunately, there are many people in the world who see animals as "just animals."

    bast*** grrrrrr canines are extremly sensitive creatures, no matter what they are trained to do ...... even if i scold my dogs they react ...... NEVER NEVER hit a animal ........
