  5. The boys are great! We went away for a night last night so they were very excited to have us back this morning and are now extra loving today.

    I'm doing well too. I finally finished up my finals yesterday and I have 1 week off before I start my summer stuff. I'm going to be taking a class and I'm going to be starting the "hands on" stuff - I will have 7 clients to work with over the summer in the clinic on campus which is scary and exciting at the same time. I still feel like I have no idea what I'm supposed to do but I guess I'll have to figure it out. At least I have a supervisor who is going to be helping me along the first few weeks teaching me what to do and easing me in to running each session for the full time without any extra help.

    How are you? How's Georgie and Mr. K? How's good old new york?

  6. New York is noisy, Georgie is biting toes in the middle of the night, Mr. K is playing lots of tennis & I'm wishing I didn't have to go to work. In other words, all is normal around here :)

    Good luck with your summer work! I know you'll do great. Make sure you really wind down this week and do things you enjoy.

  9. OMG! I had to run out to the freezer and raid the chocolate stash!! I want the little calico/tortie at the end that wants someone to love. I have such a soft spot for torties and tuxies.

  12. of all my kitties, only Spice didn't come from a shelter. i got her from one of my coworker's sons.

    Velvet came from the Finger Lakes Humane Society

    Catarina and Melinda got "intercepted" on their way to a shelter.

  13. I honestly think that's the best commercial I've every seen.

    This is what my cat's would say:
    Bella (aka the Wood Chuck): I want a bed and 4 or 5 meals a day. (we only feed two)
    Cerce (aka the white rat): I want a home with springs everywhere!
    Tessie: I want a home with moving red dots all the time!
    Marco: A place where I can get plenty of attention!
