    Hi, Everyone!!!! I'm so late getting started today. Mr. WWM and I went for our bike ride and did 35 miles and had the pleasure of doing half of it into a really strong wind. I'm really beginning to hate that wind.

    When we got home we found Windi out on the screened in patio parked in front of the aquarium that is housing our baby turtles. Every once in a while we'd see her little paw come up and tap at the glass. This must have been the first time that she noticed them, as yesterday it was so cool here they stayed buried. Kitty television!

    I have to go and get my eyes checked this afternoon. I think that Mr. WWM is tired of me squinting at him.

    SMM - it's wearing me out ! I even suggested options for things to do tomorrow... basically just go dancing at a different venue. Didn't even suggest not dancing... LOL I knew that wouldn't fly... Maybe my expectations are too high...

    Good for you WWM and congrats on the bike ride! The visual of Windi with the paw up tapping the aquarium is cute. Cat TV is right. That is what I said when the doves were nesting outside of my bedroom window. They have all been gone about three months now and I have left the nest alone. Another neighbor volunteered to knock it down but I am okay with it. I am concerned with mites though as I think I have seen some sort of very tiny little beetle in my apartment and Mia seems extra itchy lately. Didn't find any fleas or flea dust so am pretty sure it isn't that. I may get that diacemtomous (sp?) earth stuff to sprinkle on my carpet and maybe even on Mia. Poor cats.

    Good evening. How are you all? I went to the doctor's yesterday (finally) about my sore wrist. He gave me some anti-inflammatories and when I read the leaflet they come with I nearly flipped. Some of the side-effects are amazing! The "minor" ones can cause mental problems including visual and auditory hallucinating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But, it adds, you don't need to go back to the doctor unless it is causing major problems. So I have warned my work colleagues that if they see me sitting in a corner talking to an imaginary rabbit called Harvey and he's answering me that it's no big deal. They looked at me and replied, but you do that anyway. LOL

    What kind of imflammatories cause hallucinations! Holy cow is right!! Be careful PM! I don't think I would want to take the meds. Ibruprofen aka Advil or Aleve is enough for me and I don't like to take them too often as they make me feel light headed.

    ACK!!!! It's a wonder that I got home! The dr dilated my eyes and it's bright and sunny out so of course I drove home barely able to see a thing. What fun!

    Oh no, WWM! Glad you made it home. I hate it when they dilate my eyes since they always put too much drops in them. They say it usually goes away in 3-4 hours but with me it can be 7-9 hours if they put too many drops in. Somehow light colored eyes are much more sensitive to the drops or maybe it is just me. I have to remind my optometrist when he does my yearly exam. It can ruin a whole day for me as I have to hide in my apt with the blinds closed till it wears off.

    I haven't had my eyes dilated in years! And I have an annual exam... I didn't know they still did that. Hmmmm....

    I had a doc tell me once that dark eyes take longer to dilate. Don't know about the sensitivity of light eyes.

    Glad you made it home safely WWM! The last time I was at the eye doc and got dialated, I pulled right out in front of a car that I never saw! Heading to Kohl's to check out the sales. Have a good night everyone!

    Hi all!!! *waves*

    I had a tennis match today and won easily. This one was a make-up from last week when we had to reschedule. I played my regular match yesterday and won that one as well, so the season is off to a good start.

    Yesterday I had to concede that the darn bed bugs have won and throw away my bed. Of course the idiots who live in the main house ran right out and claimed my box spring and brought it back in the house. I guess it doesn't matter if I get rid of my bed and stuff if they don't do anything to get rid of the bugs in the main house - eventually they'll just come back to my place!
    My poor boys were upset the bed had to go and a bit uneasy. This afternoon, I moved their kitty castle to a new spot which they seemed to like, so that's a plus.
    I've got pet-sitting the next 3 nights so I'll sleep over there and last night, I invited myself to GG's. GG told his brother about the bed bugs and he decided to look them up online. He found a National Geographic movie that had me all grossed out.
    I really have to move, but I'm still waiting for my bonus check from the new, old job and I'm not working much right now, so it's hard to find something.

    Hi all! Hope everyone is feeling well and they aren't hallucinating! GD, good girl! I am glad you threw out your bed! I wish I lived closer I have three extra beds in my basement. Two twin beds and one full sized bed. I have the box springs for all of them and all you would have to do is buy a mattress. I would happily give you one. I am planning on calling the Salvation Army here soon to come get them. I am doing a cleaning up of my house and I just don't have room for three more beds. OOH that makes me mad I can't email you a bed! LOL

    GD, way to go with GG too! OMG, I don't know what to do, I am SO NERVOUS. FF is taking me to the "old neighborhood" tomorrow night to hang out with friends from his growing up years. His buddy owns a bar and wants me to meet him as well as some other guys and their significant others. I hope I look feminine enough for him! LOL I hope I don't make a fool of myself!

    Popping in to say high!.... TG tomorrow is Friday!.... unfortunately, I have to sit in a seminar for the better part of the day, but good news is I should quit w**k early!...... looking forward to a weekend at home, with possibly a "do what you want" day!.....

    Awwww, MC, you're going to do great! Can't blame you for being nervous, though - I would be, too! The one day GG's mom came into the gym, I didn't know what to say at all. Tomorrow I'm covering for the front desk manager and working from9am to 8pm and GG's mom usually comes in on Friday mornings - yikes!

    The front desk manager told me she has a mattress I can have, but I don't want to bring anything into the house at all now, because the bugs will just come back :(
    Another casualty of the stupid bugs was Bobby's Blankie :(
    And my nice feather pillow that I had my dad send me for Christmas one year :(

    I'm working all day tomorrow and dog-sitting tonight through Sunday afternoon. It'll be nice to stay at the dog-sitting house and get some rest.

    I think I'm more upset about Blankie than Bobby is - so much history there :(
    He's been sucking other blankies lately, so I guess he'll be okay - we just really had a fondness for that blankie :(

    GD, how are you? I'm actually liking my new job - the people are great, and have really pulled together as a team.... my boss called me the other day, and complemented me on my offices' volume... he wanted to know what I put in the water to get them producing..... I told him "a nice, healthy, upbeat environment" to work in , and a boss that goes to bat for them!..... it actually does make me feel good when I see things turning around for the better!......
