  1. My 7 month old female kitten was spayed on Wednesday and we brought her home yesterday afternoon. She has been lethargic, hasn't been moving around much and has been hiding in dark spaces. I expected most of these behaviors, but her eyes have been fully dilated all day long. Is this normal or should I be worried??

  2. I would call the vet and ask them to be on the safe side.

  4. I would call the vet. Have you been able to have a look at her incision site at all? Its possible she might have an infection there, but hopefully not. Please let us know what the vet says.

  5. Definitely call the vet - could be some sort of adverse reaction to the anesthetic. Please let us know how this turns out - we worry!

  8. Called the vet and he told us to keep her in a dark room. He said it may be an adverse effect from the anesthesia or the cream they put in her eyes to keep them moist while she was under. He said to wait until tomorrow to worry and to call him if anything else goes wrong.

Her incision looks fine and she is moving around a bit more, but her eyes are still dilated. We'll see what a good nights sleep does for our baby.

    Thanks for the warm welcome
