It was 9:00 pm and I was getting ready to watch TV. I was in the balcony to hang out laundry when I heard it. A constant, vibrant loud meowing from a tiny little kitten in the middle of the road. I didn’t go right away. I waited till I finished hanging out my laundry. I already had a cat and I was not really thinking of getting a second one. As the cars drove by, I realized the kitten was in danger. I went down the road with some food and the kitten came. I took it upstairs. She is the cutest thing I’ve ever seen. My first cat Natalie was adopted from a shelter at about five and a half months old, so I never had a kitten before. Kittens are wonderful. I love everything about my little Aria.

In December, one of our vet’s clients brought in a very friendly three-year old stray, which we adopted and named Annie. The client had thought that Annie was spayed, and that her previous owner had abandoned her.

In the excitement of all the people coming in and out of the house for the holidays, Annie got out for a couple of days, and these three cuties were born on February 27.

Mini-Me (black/white; so called because has the exact same markings as her mother), was adopted by a lady who also has two rescue greyhounds. They love her!

Bruiser (grey, the only boy, and known for his rough play) and Little Bit (tabby) were adopted by the brother of our one of the technicians at our vet’s office.

Momma Annie is with us forever (now spayed and chipped). They are all doing great in their new homes!

This little cutie was found abandoned in our backyard on April 16th. We heard her crying all night on the 15th into the morning of the 16th (thinking it was from the neighbor’s yard). When we checked the corner of our backyard behind a bush, we found the little newborn. Her eyes were still closed and the end of her tail didn’t have much fur on it yet. Her eyes opened on about the 24th. Our 5 children love her and all take part in some way of caring for her. She’s just now beginning to get more playful instead of just eat, sleep, ####. The vet seems to think she was born on or about the 13th of the month. We’re looking forward to having her for a long time.
