Lintilla is number seven in our household. My husband and I were driving past a park when I saw a tiny kitten at the edge of the park driveway. We stopped and hoped she wouldn’t run off. She did but after about 10 minutes she came back. I caught her by meowing to her in the bushes. Once I had a hold of her she purred up a storm. She was starved and her feet were all cut up as if she has been thrown from a car. We checked for and siblings but there were no more kittens in the bushes.

Luna and Comet came into the shelter along with their brothers Orbit and Sonic as part of our TNR program. They have been in my foster home since they came into the shelter at four weeks old. Orbit and Sonic have been adopted, but Luna and Comet are now five months old, have been recently altered and are more than ready to go to their furrever home.

Sinatra was rescued from our local animal shelter and boy is he thankful! He is a giant fluffy ball of energy who’s main goal in life is to entertain us. In true crazy kitty fashion he romps around the living room playing with anything and everything possible. A lively little guy that fits right in with our three dogs and two year old daughter, I honestly couldn’t imagine our family without him.

The neighbors dropped off Ismira and her brother off when they were barely two weeks old. This is her two weeks later, being adorable snuggled up inside the pillow. Half sleepy, she was determined to play anyway as she prepared to pounce.

I am fostering Timmy and Grace for the local shelter. They can’t be in the shelter as they are recovering from cat flu. When they stop sneezing they can be homed. Grace is the lighter coloured one and she is much bigger than her brother. She cleans him and looks after him. They are gorgeous kittens with perfect temperaments – they love cuddles and fuss as well as being crazy and playful.

We trapped Scarlet and her brother Reggie at a recycling center. This picture is day two, when she was still feral and we were working on her socialization. She is now is spitfire and loves canned food, fighting with her brother and naps on her kitty hammock. She is available for adoption through Catsnap.

This is one of three kittens and a mama that I plan to take to Animals Can’t Talk for fostering and adoption as soon as Mama’s ready to trust me enough. The last two days she did let me hold them and wipe their eyes, so I’m hoping it’s just a matter of time.
