Emmy
Location: Puyallup, Washington, USA

We recently adopted Little Emmy and she has been a complete joy! She is our first pet and has been a handful. She likes to play with her toy mouse and climb on her scratching post. She is a member of the family and we just added her name to the family sign outside our house!

Zoe
Location: Clarkson, New York, USA

Zoe was adopted from the local Human Society when she was eight weeks old. She was skinny and scared. Well, that was then… now she’s tubby and rambunctious! Her tan facial markings have darkened into a beautiful mardis gras mask. Her eyes were bright blue, but have faded some to an icy blue with a dark rim around the pupil. She is spunky and does not take ‘no’ for an answer with my other two cats, Gypsy and Bella. Her surrogate mom is my dog, Brooklyn, who loves her to death. It’s my guess that she’s a Ragdoll or a mix with one, but her eyes are crossed which indicates Siamese. Either way, she’s adorable, funny and very much at home with us. We’re all winners!

Animal
Location: Silt, Colorado, USA

Here’s Animal at seven weeks. One of my daughter’s latest foster kittens. Named “Animal” after the musician Muppet because her hair was actually longer than her ears as a wee kitten, leaving her looking like a ball of fuzz with eyes! She is totally independent and very busy all day long. But when she’s sleepy, she needs a human to cuddle and love.

Penelope
Location: Barrington, New Jersey, USA

I adopted Penelope from a friend whose cat had kittens this summer. I have a three-year-old cat who I felt needed a companion. Penelope is a hyper ball of energy, who loves to run and jump around my apartment. She loves her new “big sister” cat Karly, and is always trying to convince her that it’s playtime! Penelope likes to take naps on my chest, and always sleeps in bed next to me at night. She’s a total joy – and she’s a cutie, to boot!

Symba
Location: Spring Branch, Texas, USA

Hello, my name is Symba. I was given that name because of the markings on my forehead. To my human mom, they look like an emblem or symbol of some kind. I came to my new home with my mom, brother and sisters after my old family dropped us off nearby. My mom checked out the new house and decided that it was safe so she brought us to live here too. I am an explorer and walk with determination going off by myself to look for new adventures. I most enjoy playing with my siblings and curling up with them at nap time.

Tabitha
Location: Tellico Plains, Tennessee, USA

14 ounces of pouncing and attacks, Tabitha drives her 18 lbs sister nuts… a rescue kitty, now in her forever home.

Lily
Location: Hagerstown, Maryland, USA

Lily was on The Daily Kitten when she was very little. This is a more recent picture. I was eating cherries out of the bowl next to Lily and I think she was a little sad that the bowl was empty.
