Izzie
Location: Rochester, Michigan, USA

While working at home one day I heard a tiny kitten crying outside. I went outside to look for the source and caught a glimpse of a tiny kitten all alone in the hosta bed. She was a runt abandoned by her mother and siblings. With much difficulty she was captured and tamed and has become a wonderful addition to our cat family. Please meet little Izzie. She is playful and loving and the joy of our hearts.

Orangie
Location: Bowie, Texas, USA

This is a little kitty that showed up at our house over 18 years ago. He was born in a salvage yard close to our house. One day I went to water the plants and this was where he was hiding!! He never became tame enough for us to pet him but he would always stay close to the food!! He grew into one of the largest cats that I have ever had! What a wonderful memory to find tucked away in a box of pictures!!

Mokie Bear
Location: Rapid City, South Dakota, USA

Mokie Bear often watches the Daily Kittens but when he saw that the babies for the day were fellow TDKer Pika’s he could not resist trying to catch a quick head bonk. He quickly realized that they were not on my desk but rather in cyber-space. Mokie is one of seven little kittens my husband and I saved in September 2008. He really is only four months old in this picture. As many TDKer’s know, he has had great adventures and keeps us, our three other cats and our home safe from many creatures.

Rikki
Location: Fairfield, Connecticut, USA

We lost our 13 year old cat in November 2008. He had been with me since I adopted him as a kitten, living in seven different homes in three different states. To fill the hole in our hearts and to keep our 4.5 year old cat company, we just adopted little Rikki, pictured above, who is just 12 weeks old. The vet where we adopted him warned us that he was a little skittish, but he quickly got over that and now walks with a determined little boy kitty strut. Rikki is the most cuddly, sweet little kitten ever, and I love it when he snuggles up to me and falls asleep in my arms.
