My sister, Laurel, surprised me with this little bundle of joy!! I came home to my lonely apartment to find that I had a new roommate, and it was Chunk!!! She was very young, small, and not trained to use the litter box. My sister rescued her from people that could not provide adequate care for the poor little girl, so she came to live with me! Chunk is my best friend, and I love her more than anything! The best things do come in small packages…

I first saw little Myla when I was visiting my Grandpa’s farm. I was walking through my cousin’s barn and heard small meows. I followed the sounds to a cardboard box and found five of the cutest kittens I’ve ever seen. They were only a few weeks old at the time. I went back when they were old enough to leave their mother and adopted this precious little girl. This is a picture of Myla after she first came home. She is happy to have had warmth and shelter for the winter. She loves playing with my Pomeranian Magic’s tail, chasing with toys, and cuddling.

Ollie

We adopted Ollie and her brother after seven years waiting for a child. My husband and I had a quiet and lonely life before, but this has now changed into a life full of laughs and smiles. Ollie is a playful and curious little kitten. She is not afraid of water and likes to roll and play around on wet floors. She is energetic and like to play jump-and-catch. In the morning, she wake us up by nuzzling our hand or cheek. Unlike her brother, (S)mok(e)y, she doesn’t eat much, and we have to give her daily vitamins. I’m just curious where she gets all the energy for being so active!

I always wanted a cat and I found my kitty in the pet-shop. It was few moths after my dog died (November 2002). I just were there, watching the rabbits and one old lady came there, I never saw her again. She came there with a box and inside there were two kittens, and this little princess looked at me and started to meow very loud and she just wanted me, soooo… next day she were mine. It was totally “love at first sight”. Now she eight years old but she looks just the same like the first day. And she is really is a princess with an awesome personality. And I’m just happy I found her or she found me!
