Duchess & Gabriel
Location: New Orleans, Louisiana

No, it’s not a mirror. These two adorable kitties are Duchess and Gabriel. Gabriel is a three month old kitten and Duchess will be eight months soon. At first Duchess could not stand Gabriel especially his excessive talking, but now they are best friends, and she will often engage in a cuddling session for nap time. Gabriel loves pouncing on Duchess’ tail, much to her dismay.

The Schminkster
Location: Melbourne, Australia

She ran straight up to us as a tiny kitten at the abandoned cat home, where the staff called her “the feisty one”. The most playful, sociable cat we’ve ever served, but only had her a year before having to relocate overseas. Her new staff loves her to pieces though, and sends us regular

Petey
Location: Boston, Massachusetts, USA

This is Petey just after we adopted him in June 2010. The shelter said he’d been abandoned by his previous owner for reasons unknown. Petey is a very intelligent cat, and spends his time carrying hair elastics in his mouth while perfecting long-distance jumping from the counter to the kitchen table. He also munches on lettuce and carrot sticks as he watches us prepare meals

Suzi
Location: Carol Stream, Illinois, USA

I adopted Suzi last summer after my 17 year-old Siamese Noel passed away. Suzi was tiny and very sick with a cold. I nursed her back to health and she is now a healthy, active 12 pound Maine Coon mix. She is loving and can be very funny. I love her.

Clyde & Seymour
Location: Dickson, Tennessee, USA

My cat of 17 years had to be put to sleep from kidney failure. I didn’t think I wanted anymore cats but less than a week later my sister was looking at the local shelter’s website and saw a litter of orange tabby brothers. I went and couldn’t resist and brought this two wild ones home. They are about six months old in this picture.
