Minion
Location: Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
Minion is about three months old in this picture. Our tabby girl Razmataz had five kittens this past spring and couldn’t quite feed this guy enough, so he quickly learned to come crying to us for supplement when he was hungry. His brothers and sisters were adopted out to friends of ours but my husband and I couldn’t bare to part with this little guy. His momma is half Siamese with the Siamese attitude (which we love in her!), but this little guy has the sweetest temperament and is the gentlest kitten I’ve seen. He’s almost five months old now and he still makes his momma chase away anything he thinks is scary, but we love him to bits and he and his momma are the bestest of friends!

I do hope that Minion and his humans have a long and happy life together.
Chessie–I’ve never forgiven the generic-sounding CSX for taking Chessie off of their rail cars (grrrr). That used to be the highlight of our road trips, to see that sleeping kitten logo. I even had a latch-hook rug of little Chessie (named for the Chesapeake and Ohio Railroad, which became the antiseptic CSX when it merged with Southern Railroad).
I wonder whatever happened to that rug….

BTW, this will probably be my last comment on TDK. Chronic problems with password and logging in, it gets very annoying and time-consuming to try to sort it out, so if my next attempt doesn’t recognize my “current” password, that’s the end for me. But I’ll always be visiting the kittens!
Hi JG – hope you get the password thing straightened out. I had some trouble too and when I checked the ‘remember me’ box, it’s been ok ever since. Good luck – at least you still get to gaze and the day’s kitten.
It normally doesn’t work for me, that’s why the trouble. Well, we’ll see … sometimes it’s OK for a couple of days, then goes back to being problematical again.
Try clearing your cache and deleting your cookies. This will usually work.

The stripey cats are everywhere this week! Minion is another gorgeous little stripey and I love his scratching tower, right next to the window. Maybe he could have some of us over to play?
Minion is one great-looking guy! They may not have that “hey baby, check me out” attitude that orange tabbies have, but I think brown tabbies are as sweet and good-natured as they come. Congrats to Minion and his Mom!
Just about all my cats were like this one and every single one was a lush for lovin’s. He is so handsome!!!!
